As we have already seen, poverty does not seem to be as much an issue in the States as it is in the UK. Here I think it would help a lot if there was not this disparity between the Minimum wage of £6.50/hr and the Living wage of £7.85/hr and £9.15/hr in London. How can any society have laws that make it legal to pay anyone below a living wage? It is no wonder that the result is white or black disadvantaged people turning to crime to survive, and black people being at more of a disadvantage before they start.

Not seeing it, Gary. Countries aren't people. No one is saying that Ameicans as people are subhuman. What they are saying is there are better ways of running countries. I am fairly sure that doesn't count as racism or xenophobia.

You eyes need three adjustments. It wasn't just America being slammed. There a lot of countries that consider themselves a people and will be insulted at you saying they aren't. The nations of the first peoples come to mind as do several mid-east countries. And you also can't see where other thought process are identical to those in racism when they are applied to things besides individual persons. I think you are so focused on black/white that it is impossible for you to step back and see the rest of the world and how the same thought pattern is repeated all over.
