Tanks Lynn. It's hard battling depression and OA, now I need to go power up the oven, it's cold in here. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Well, still at 269 lbs. No change this week; but, in fairness, I did eat breakfast before getting on the scale... Hopefully, I will stay on track and continue losing 8 lbs. a month and will get to the 240s by March... :-) TL TimeLord04 Have TARDIS, will travel... Come along K-9! Join Calm Chaos |

Ok here's an update, I'm down to 430lbs, since January 12th I've lost 8lbs, no Atkins or tv food commercial here, just what I normally eat, plus some Vitamin C and recently Vitamin D3, one of each per day. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

I don't eat "special" food. The Atkins Plan that I started in October uses regular food bought at the grocery stores. We shop COSTCO, Safeway, and Lunardi's; and sometimes Trader Joe's. Nothing special about the Atkins Plan; except that it is LOW Carb, and High Fats, and Moderate Protein. 12-15 Net Carbs from Veggies, every day. This plan works very well for me, and I recommend it to others whom haven't been brainwashed against it for political reasons. (NOT you, Vic... Persons accused will remain nameless herein.) Nutrisystem was the one on TV, I couldn't remember it, nothing against either one, since everyone is different. I go to Stater Bros and to Vons for what I can't get at Staters, Staters recently revamped the Barstow CA store and parking lot(new slurry and paint for the parking lot). Which means I've been using the electric cart to get around until I can make out where some stuff was moved to. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Also, it's NOT that Atkins DOESN'T have Products; because they DO have Products. I purchase their various snacks and shakes. Their shakes, (unlike most Weight Loss Plans), are NOT meal replacements; they are considered a snack. These shakes are VERY small in quantity. I purchase the Dark Chocolate Royale, and the Mocha Latte shakes, then buy Atkins bars, peanut butter cups, and "M&M" Style candies for variety. Should I have a sweet tooth craving, these give me a suitable snack that is on Plan that I can go to and keep LOW Carb. :-) Safeway is where I go for the Atkins shakes and snacks. I did find that Walmart carries the frozen foods; so I stocked up on a variety of dinners and a couple breakfast bowls. I am eating these ONLY when I have NO other planned food to eat for a given meal... ie: My parents go out for dinner, and I have nothing available to eat, I can turn to a frozen meal that is still low carb and meets the Plan requirements for nutrition. I find the frozen meals an Aide to the Plan, NOT a daily replacement for store bought food. Fresh veggies and meats are preferred for the Plan. This has been the easiest Diet Plan I've ever followed. :-) TL TimeLord04 Have TARDIS, will travel... Come along K-9! Join Calm Chaos |

Walmart, the local store is expanding and of course, when I've gone there, I've found the electric conveyance vehicles have not been charged, other times they are charged, so I don't shop there, since it's a BIG store, I'd rather go to Staters and Vons, their ecv's are always charged. I always buy frozen veggies(carrots, cauliflower and broccoli), seasoned with pepper, plus fishsticks. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Uh, try contacting the store manager at Walmart and convey to him what you have said, and I guarantee that in the future all the go-carts shall be charged. Ok guys, ready for a shock? The scale says I'm down to 417lbs, from 438lbs(last I posted I was at 430lbs), that's 21lbs lost total so far, this time I lost only 13lbs, instead of merely 8lbs. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Weight: 266 Loss: 0.5 lbs. :-) Total Loss: (Still) 25 lbs. :-) I don't think I drank enough water this week... Nothing changed with my diet, other than the reduced water intake... Maybe next week will have better results. TL TimeLord04 Have TARDIS, will travel... Come along K-9! Join Calm Chaos |
