I have always tried to depend only partly on my wonderful good looks, but as of late I have decided to try to shed some of these extra pounds that I have collected over the many years. I mean, what the heck eh? Sure sure being beautiful has its' own reward, but for the sake of my tailor, and my sweet LSM who must look at me every day, I'll reduce! 221 pounds. edit: I guess all that mowing and gardening has helped out a bit. Plus all the extra walking when I was in town the last two weeks..... |

Still 5' 9", and 160 lbs. even. Eating all the kibbles that a growing boy needs. Guess I'm still good to go. Meow. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

I have something to report, 393 lbs, 19 lbs lost, possibly due to a change in lunchmeat from bologna to real turkey. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

That would be 45 lbs total lost according to My notes, since I'd gotten no heavier than 438 lbs in the notes, that 438 was from 01/12/2016. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

I must be getting slimmer. I am down to 219 pounds, my body is now showing veins all over and all my clothes are getting too big for me. Even my legs are getting more defined with muscle contours. I almost forgot, did I mention the wonderful tan I have? The first real good tan in the last ten years. My Hep-C rash has gone for good, no more little red speckles everywhere. All the physical stuff that I had lost in the last decade is coming back to me. edit: Shucks it's hard to be so good looking.... re-edit: I am even getting hair under my arms again.... |

Good for you Celt. Me no change here, today as usual I've been coughing, getting flem out of My throat, it seems like any refrigerated drink does this, I got enough out to where I can breathe again, the cup on My desk will need cleaning eventually, I hate asthma, no I have not gone to a Doctor about this, not when I'm told, 'unless I see it happen in front of Me, it ain't happening', as in I'm faking, a 'malingerer', another reason to move away from Yermo, in Hesperia I had a Doctor who cared, out here, the Doctor is a bit hostile(the staff are ok though), the office relies on Me to give them a reading of My weight, their scale goes to 300lbs only, I tried to get one that went higher, the office ignored the request... ...the office relies on Me to give them a reading of My weight, their Vic, you have mentioned this scale issue many times before. I've resisted commenting in the past, but truth be told, my curiosity is piqued. This time around I am simply going to ask you... What do you think would be different, in terms of the doctor's medical advice to you, were the doctor to verify your exact weight vs having you simply report to him that you weigh around 400 pounds, give or take 20 pounds on either side of 400? It does not really make sense for your doctor to invest in a scale that precisely weighs 1% or maybe 2% of his patient caseload, as his advice to this subset of patients is probably going to be the same whether they weigh in at 300 or at 400 pounds. We all know the medical health risks of obesity - Type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, metabolic syndrome, heart disease, stroke, cancer, breathing disorders, gallbladder disease, fertility problems, sexual dysfunction, fatty liver disease and osteoarthritis. A patient who weighs 300 pounds would probably get the same health checks, and the same medical advice, as a patient who weighs 400 pounds. Truth be told, I'm with the doctor on this one! Why buy an expensive special scale when it does not change the things your doctor would check, or the advice your doctor would give you? |
