No change in weight for the third week in a row. :-(

Sometimes this happens; I've read about it on the Atkins site. Nothing to worry about, though - the weight will continue to come off.

For now, still at 252 lbs.

Goal Weight: 140

Good news is that more of my pants are getting looser. :-)

Ok I bought 4 loaves of 'Natures Own' Whole Wheat Bread, expensive stuff @ $3.59 a loaf, but it is 60 calories a slice, the bread that I was buying was 'Valutime' which is $0.99 a loaf and is 120 calories a slice. One thing I wish I had access to, food stamps, I'm given $10.00 in lieu of food stamps, yet the average per person in California is $141.99 a month(per person) in 2014(the most recent year that data is available), a difference of at least $131.99 a month, quite a difference that the State of CA is leaving on the table, some that I've talked to in CA state government are pretty ignorant of this, they think the difference is quite small.

Yeah I'm going to call someone on Monday and complain, Asm Cheryl Browns Office will do, Her bill AB1584 is probably doomed, just like AB474 was last year...

Ok time for the nitty gritty, After chemo
my blood pressure went up, up, way up! Also
my weight went up to 240 pounds in a month
and a half. In the last month my weight went
back down to 228 pounds, and my blood pressure
is on it's way back to what would be normal for
me: 135/70, pulse 52 beats per minute. I also
found out at the doctor's office this morning
that reason I was feeling taller was because I
am now almost two inches taller than what I
measured out at three months ago. I am still
shorter than when we got married twenty six
years ago. 5'11".

edit:
My doctor thinks it was all in the slouch I had for posture when I was sick....

How is that?

Now that you pointed that out, my worthy doctor,
aka 'ILSD' Ian's Long Sufferin' Doctor, thinks it
was a combination of slouch and imprecise measurement.
The weight thing was spot on. I am noticing all sorts
of side effects to getting better after such a long
illness. First of all I can't sleep in any more, second,
every thing heals so much faster now. A bruise that normally
clears up in a month when sick, now clears up in just over
a week, I go to the bathroom a lot less now. I no longer
take vast amounts intoxicants and other such poisons. The
only medication I now take is a sort of herbal supplement.
Long gone now are the sleeping dope, the pain dope, the stop
poop dope, the make you poop dope, and on and on.....
It is very much easer to talk LSM in to 'movies and chilling'
I can only hope others have had this sort of epiphany happen
to them after an illness. It is very hard indeed to feel down
at the world when it seems such a kind place to us these days.

Old grey sailor is back up to 238.

Too much time in the car and computer chair, not enough time pushing the lawn mower and triming trees.

I'm trying to take in less calories, the bread that I bought has only 60cal vs 120cal a slice, but costs $3.59 a loaf vs $0.99 a loaf, 'Natures Own Whole Wheat bread' is expensive.

I don't have access to My notes that are on a usb stick, but I think for the moment I'm not gaining any weight, the scale said I weigh 422lbs today.
