Correction bloody ABC

Saturday 9th Day of the Doctor sneaky advertising looks like well have to wait till 23rd too .

change day and let ppl think it's the new season grrrrrr

Day of the Doctor and then the aniversay 1 then the new season sneaky as these 2 episode can be view'd as the new season seeing as they where done a few months after the last episode

i hate smart alex advertisers

I know what you mean... suppose it's a chance to get up to date (if people missed those episodes) before the new season starts... but it IS sneaky. I'm also heartily fed up of being gripped by an advert for something I really want to watch only to find out later it's on a subscription channel I don't have or can't get :(

Excellent! :) If it wasn't for all those little ones hiding behind sofas etc years ago - Doctor Who may never have come back. So many of the people behind the scenes in all of the new series were early WHO fans.

Well, I managed to get two tickets to the Doctor Who special on August 25th; no thanks to Fandango... The Fandango site kept refusing to process the order; no matter which credit card I used, browser, or computer... So, I did what any self respecting Who fan would do. I went down to the theater directly, today, and bought two tickets; one for me, and one for a friend of mine.

I also bought two tickets to my local Renaissance Pleasure Faire. On September 13th, I will be dressing as Tom Baker's Doctor, (complete with jelly babies), and the same friend who is going to the premiere special will be going as my Doctor Who companion for the Renaissance Faire.

I can't wait for both events. :-)

Well, that still would be difficult; because, the friend that's going with me is male. Now, he could go as Adric; however, for the Renaissance Faire, he is choosing to be Jamie. It should be interesting having a Second Doctor's companion with the 4th Doctor...

Sadly it is too big for my place too. It is dismantled and put away right now, but we did have it at the wedding and got married in front of it. :)

The last episode I have access to is "S7 | Ep14, The Name of the Doctor" Released here in May 0f 2013. Is it pickup from here or were there some episodes in the UK that I have not had access to yet?

Okay, the last one you've seen is "The Name of the Doctor."

The next aired episode was the 50th anniversary special, "The Day of the Doctor." It aired 50 years to the second after the very first episode, back in 1963.

However, shortly before that, they released a mini-episode "The Night of the Doctor" on Youtube. It brings back Paul McGann for a death scene and helps explain "The Day of the Doctor."

And I just found out there was another mini-episode, "The Last Day" which I am about to watch for the first time.

The last new episode so far was "The Time of the Doctor," the 2013 Christmas special. I don't think it will be a shocking spoiler to tell you it ends with the transition from Matt Smith to Peter Capaldi.

Okay, I just watched it. It's less important than "The Night of the Doctor" but it does sort of fill in a bit more back story for "The Day of the Doctor." I think you should probably not bother with it until after you've seen "The Day of the Doctor."

Scott, did you know about this?
