Back at the top, and WINNING!!!!! :-)

Working on an old Athlon 64 3500+. I have to reinstall the OS; however, before I do that, I'm also diagnosing it for a hardware conflict. The PC seems to freeze up for no apparent reason.

If I can resolve the freezing, reinstall the OS, I will be installing BOINC and run SETI on it. Then I will retire Constellation, my Ubuntu Linux 12.04 system.

Constellation only has 512 MB RAM, Exeter, (the AMD Athlon 64 3500+), has 2.5 GB RAM. Exeter also has a new hard drive, 250 GB... The OS is XP Pro x64.

Winning with cloudcover but no rain.
Isolated Thunderstorm attacking the Fresno-Clovis
area with lightning and hail and heavy rain,
but nothing but clouds and cool breezes down here.

I fixed the freezing problem. It was a hardware conflict between the onboard audio system and the new PCI Sound Card I installed. I had to go into the BIOS and disable the onboard audio system. (Realtek)

Tomorrow, sometime, I will be reinstalling the OS, (XP Pro x64), to repair Windows Update, and then I will be grabbing all the updates through April 8, 2014. Next I will install OpenOffice. Then BOINC and SETI.

I have to let Constellation run a few more days to run out it's cache of WU's. However, once that's done, Exeter will replace Constellation as my main SETI cruncher.

Now, it's time for bed. Goodnight everyone. :-)

I'd like to do that some day.

An hour and a half to go and it's still 2-2. Can't help noticing that the ladies voted for a date and the guys voted for a count. Not sure what to make of that...

So here it is, 24 hours later.

With a stunning total of 5 votes cast, the winner is a post count. So be it.

I have an approximate number in mind, which I will pin down this weekend, long before it approaches. I expect it to be less than Ian's number in the last round.

On with the frivolity!

Number unless a holiday or vacation might is coming up, in which case it should be the date. And if date then it should be in the future. Not many of us are able to travel back in time. Oh this was posted before the polls closed.

Aaaaaand... they're gone. They spend the rest of the day at Exit With Pride, at the beach. Then they have Commemorative tonight (evolved from what used to be baccalaureate). Tuesday morning, all school awards assembly, then the seniors (the ones who paid to go) have Senior Brunch. Graduation is in the evening, weather permitting. If it rains, they bump it to Wednesday. If it rains then, it goes inside with less seating available.
