Ya know, they make turkey hot dogs and turkey chili (and turkey SPAM)? My local grocery store has ground turkey next to the ground pork sausage and ground beef. Supposed to be more "healthy" than regular ground beef or pork....... Donald Infernal Optimist / Submariner, retired |

Over here we're really not into turkey at all (just about anything else is fair game). Cheers. |

What they did was wind up lower on the food chain. We have two large commercial turkey operations within a few hours drive of us that both have factory outlet type stores attached. Every way you can imagine meat being served (plus some) we can get as turkey. Sausages, burgers, kabobs, frozen meat pies, frozen pizzas. Gizzards or livers by the pound. Boneless legs, with and without stuffing, and on and on. I could eat it three times a day, but my wife is more of a tradionalist. This year, however, we are trying a boneless, pre-stuffed turkey for Christmas. We look forward to not having to deal with the carcass after a hard day of drinking and eating. |

For Christmas dinner my father buys two smaller turkeys (cheaper than one big one) and rotisseries them on the barbeque. Bye bye tough dry grey polyfilla, hello tasty succulent golden meat. Life on earth is the global equivalent of not storing things in the fridge. |

After 33 years of eating Turkey on Thanksgiving, I will not give that up. I never had a Chili Cheese Dog and don't care to try it. Pluto will always be a planet to me. Seti Ambassador Not to late to order an Anni Shirt |

I would be behind you 100%... except I don't like chili. I'll probably heat up my pot of frozen Italian beef. Maybe mix up some powdered mashed potatoes. Haven't had them like that since I was a kid. Probably still don't like them. David Sitting on my butt while others boldly go, Waiting for a message from a small furry creature from Alpha Centauri. |

Here's the turkey dinner at school last week. Someone after me griped about the stingy blob of whipped cream and got more. David Sitting on my butt while others boldly go, Waiting for a message from a small furry creature from Alpha Centauri. |

I was attacked by a herd of turkeys once, they were hell bent on pecking me to death. If I was an American I could have grabbed my AR15 and fought them off but as I am an Australian I had to run into the back yard and grab a wooden stake from the tomato plants and beat them to death. All my friends came over and we had BBQ"d turkey for a week. |

Not on the street but in a field. We did get revenge a few months later by consuming some of the offspring of the irate and malevolent turkey... Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

I've been to the range once, and to a Training Class once. I'm currently saving my ammo. because, ammo. is getting hard to come by. Retailers across the nation keep selling out of ammo. since January this year. TimeLord04 Have TARDIS, will travel... Come along K-9! Join Calm Chaos |
