I know this has nothing with S@h to do, but by clicking on this link:

http://www.ettklickforskogen.se/engelska/ettKlickeng.asp

you will help preserve the forest in Sweden. One click saves 8,5 decimeters. Please hurry and click ones a day, that would a responsible S@h member do. They only has untill june 2005 to collect a million SEK - so remember to click ones a day. As a member of S@h I hope you care as much for nature as for life in space - remember no nature no life so if anyone should be able to find us in the future, we need to preserve our nature.

Great idea. You've gotten my click and + rating.

Good Luck! I've taken the liberty of creating a direct link below for you.

Done my bit and will click each day. Hope it succeeds. The world could do with a lot more of these projects.

Way to go, Denmark. Thanks for bringing it to our attention. Nice to read your thoughts in your profile. Hope you get a chance to come to America. Greetings from California, USA, home of the giant redwoods.
And thanks for the linkage, DB.

Hi again folks. I hope to, that I'll be able to come to America to live some day. America is more me than Europe is - and if I should ever come to America as anything else then a tourist, it would be to make a difference for the American people.

Sure we could use more projects like this, there is being done way to less for nature as it is today, and many seems to be forgetting, that it is not just a house that we tear down, it's a shelter for millions of animals we remove everytime we remove a forest - even if we should plant a new forest - it will still take years for it to grow into something neccesary if it survive the natural threats like fire and storms.

Thanks again for clicking, remember to spread to your friends, I just hope that we will reach this goal, and maybe even more. According to my very precautious calculations, there needs approximately 1.3 million clicks - but together we can do it.

Yesterday December 16 2004, together all the visitors clicked 1,697 times. I've yet to see 1,700+ clicks a day. It's impossible for me to tell you how thrilled I'm to see the effort that you are all doing in both spreading the word but also clicking. Just please remember, that you can click once a day from each computer you own - so just click ahead on all the machines you own - unfortunantly for me, I only have one machine, but it will still make some 190 clics (approximately) from this day forward untill deadline, less there has to be clicked.

By the way, today on danish morning television, I saw that it was almost proven that elfs exists - and they to live in the forest - so for the sake of elfs, so they can appear for the coming christmas, it's also highly nescessary to preserve the woods everywhere it's possible.

On behalf of "A click for the forest" see link higher up on the page, I would like to thank you all for the effort you has done so far and will do in the future. Please keep spreading the words, maybe even with the help of mail and newsgroups.

Merry christmas and a happy new year. Thanks for the ratings - btw.

Yesterday 3,067 clicked, unfortunantly for some reason we now only get half of what we used to get out of each click we made for "A click for the forest" - but we can still make it and save a lot of forest, it look's like many who never had heard about this projects, now cliks for the forest.

The number of clicks (done on a day) doubled from Thursday to Friday. If we can keep the new rythm, there will be preserved 786 square meters from this day on and untill christmas eve.

To all of your nature folks - there i also this link:

http://www.landcareniagara.com/

where you for every five cliks help restore a tree in the rainforest - you can click on time each day, which will say that you will be able to plant 73 trees each year, by your own effort if you cliks each day.

This project by the way has no deadline, for which it has to reach a surtan goal - so just go on and clikc for as long as they need you help (I guess they close the project when it isn't nescessary anymore).

So far (December 20, 2004 more than 66 thousand trees has been donated by their sponsors)

Merry christmas and a happy new year.
