Highland Coffee or Cup o' Evening, with Scotch whisky Add a tablespoon of two of honey, and that's my cough & cold remedy. But only inexpensive blended Scotch, never the good Single Malts.... Donald Infernal Optimist / Submariner, retired |

The cheap stuff when ill is just as effective as the expensive stuff. The cheap stuff's more aggressive flavour cuts through the clag of a cold better than the subtleties of an expensive single Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

The good stuff is for pleasure and celebration, to be savoured for its own flavour. Hard to savour anything when you're feeling sick and your throat is full of crud. Sorry, but the staff is not allowed to dispense Meds, due to legal reasons. That's OK; because, I took two Extra Strength Tylenol, and that took care of the headache. A Vicodin would have been nicer, though... ;-) :-) TimeLord04 Have TARDIS, will travel... Come along K-9! Join Calm Chaos |
