You are doing fine Dirk. Use what ever you want.
Just know this, G translate is not the best.
I am hoping the surgery will help your Mom.

My mother has to have a surgery on her neck, very delicate...But I believe in a positive outcome. If you believe in it, Dirk, the positive outcome is there, on both your paths...

Thanks a lot to all.

Wednesday:

I must correct my last message, they took out just one tonsil, not both. I understood it wrong.

My mother is still in artificial coma.

The bacteria in their gastro-intestinal tract are still too much.

The kidneys are not working properly again.

From the new hospital I heard that my mother had heart-rhytm disorders.
Now it work properly.

The days are difficult.
Every day I get news about the condition about my mother.
Then I worry many hours, that at the next day the news will be better than the known news.

Now it's already Thursday in Germany.
Tomorrow it's Friday, and she is two weeks in hospital.
At Sunday she is two weeks in artificial coma.
I hope she will fully healthy again.

I can only pray and hope that the lord gives her power to survive.

Thanks a lot to all.

Julie, you mean your mother had, or she is in front of a surgery?
[EDIT: Oh, in front of.
I wish your mother good luck that everything will go well.
If you like write more infos about.
We will pray for her also.]

Julie, you are very welcome.

Thanks a lot to all.

Thursday:

My mother is still in artificial coma.

She's relatively stable.
But still not over the mountain.

Since she is in artificial coma she's intubated. This means she have a plastic pipe in her mouth/through her throat (artificially ventilated).

Because it's so long already, tomorrow (Friday) they will make a throat cut. Then comes a plastic pipe directly into the neck (not longer through the mouth).

If I understood it correct, she will be at least around the next two weeks still in clinic.

I can only pray and hope that the lord gives her power to survive.

Thanks a lot to all.

Thanks a lot to all.

Friday:

My mother isn't longer in artificial coma.
But she gets medicine inter alia for that, that she does not move much, and she is quiet/sleepy.
She's fixed to the bed, so that she can't remove all the infusions and electrical cables.
She open the eyes and want to talk, she move the lips for to talk, but to now she can't talk.
I understand it like this, if she can breath again alone, approximately then she can talk again. Then comes on the trachea cut a speaking valve.
Because of too many bacteria in her gastro intestinal tract she also has diarrhea.

She's relatively stable.
But still not over the mountain.

I can only pray and hope that the lord gives her power to survive.

Thanks a lot to all.
