I just went through that myself with Constellation, my Linux machine... Went from 45 to 27 in a matter of days. I had to implement another cruncher, Farragut, to bring up my RAC to where it is at now... Farragut is an AMD Athlon II with 4 GB RAM, Constellation is an Athlon XP 2200+ with 512 MB RAM... Farragut is also Dual Core; so she crunches 2 WUs at a time, and 5 Hrs per WU, whereas, Constellation crunches one WU at a time and takes 20 Hrs per WU. Still, it's been enough rain that I'll have to cut the grass this weekend, I think. Ugh. Okay, the local Weatherbug station says we've had 0.20" of rain, probably reset to 0 at midnight.
