I recall getting one maybe 1.5-2 months ago. I knew it was a rarity, but didn't quite care at the time.

Now I wish I could get one more, just for Sten's suggested screen shot.

Amazing the allure of a measily WU lol :)

When we are reasonably sure that all that remains in the database are validation orphans, I'll contact Eric.

With numbers still falling, I ain't gonna add to his load.

Well you won't be sure until after 5 Sept 2013 18:03:10 UTC at least. ;-)

Cheers.

I doubt that those are counted as "in progress". More likely "returned and awaiting validation" and "waiting for db purging", but we don't see the numbers of those two for v6 anymore.

BTW, 1442 now.

I finished one off over last weekend. All I have left in my rigs' lists are validation orphans, 3 on one rig and 1 on the other.

I suppose it's still possible to get resends.

I just finished one on this computer http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/results.php?hostid=5743750&offset=0&show_names=0&state=0&appid=2 . There are 4 others in various wait states, all showing as validated but just hanging on. The one today was my last active one.

THING1: No tasks to display, THING2 should get there within next 18 hours or so, so these should clean themselves out of the database without any issues (or have done that already).

THING2 reported its last task about 6 hours ago. That poor WU had a "not started by deadline", a timeout, and a couple of errors.

I have 2 pending with timeouts in OCT. So unless those are actually completed before their deadline it could be some times before everything gets cleared out.

I just discovered I have 8 Enhanced received yesterday. They all came from the same computer that stopped processing back in Jul. I am going to start processing them now.

Down to 495 now.

Working down nicely. I haven't had one for almost 2 weeks.

Beginning to look like my July 28 prediction of Sept 23 wasn't that far off.

I'll go out on a limb and make a forecast of Sep 23 (either a runout or the project throws in the towel on a few leftovers.)

First, welcome back Mark. Now, I have three that were done on my old machine. They have validated but are being held up waiting for a third man to validate. They have been sitting for a year or more. they are http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/result.php?resultid=2495354846 , http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/result.php?resultid=3137212475 , and http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/result.php?resultid=3141468027 . How do I go about getting rid of them?

1) Those are AP not MB.
2) There is nothing you can do.

For the old AP there was a clean up script of some kind they ran to fix these stuck pending tasks like those. Hopefully they will devise a similar script to clear out all of the stuck error and valid v6 MB tasks as well.
