Profile: Fred E.

Personal background
I'm a retired financial guy living in Texas. Enjoy swimming, sci-fi, grandkids, and the internet. Age? 39 and holding - don't be fooled by the grandkids - we married early. Computer's used mostly for managing some of my retirement funds, shopping, news, and for staying in touch with family and friends.

I've been with SETI since 99, and it's still my favorite project. Have done several upgrades lately to boost my contribution to SETI.

Favorite Country Song: "Mommas, don't let your babies grow up to be crunchers".

Found a message from E. T. in one result file, but it was just part of an infomercial about the casinos on some resort planet.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I find it inconceivable that we are alone in the universe. There are so many planets out there that I can't believe that only one planet produced intelligent life. Besides, someone had to make those wierd things that have been found here on the 3rd rock. Wish ET had left more clues when he visited - too bad that dino stepped on him.
