I have to since I'm around here and the PC heats up the place, the air temp in here now is 74F and that's only from the PCs waste heat, soon enough I'm hoping to go to socket 2011, 1st with a used motherboard and then with a 4820K cpu and 1866 ram, that will also cure a problem with S@H output on this PC. My sig currently says 67F. It's nice and sunny out. I wish I could be out in it, but I haven't won the lottery yet. They say it got as low as 38F in some of the far northwest suburbs (actually, up Lynn's way) last night. It's homecoming week here, which means themed dress up days. The homecoming theme is Arctic Inferno. Yesterday was Inferno day, and we got up to 70F outside for the first time in several days. Tomorrow is Arctic day, when we're supposed to dress like it's <0F, so of course it will be pushing 80. We have an outdoor assembly Friday afternoon. It was 58F outside at 8:16am, inside at that time it was 74F, that caulking is paying off as I had no heat on outside of the PC here, but then I have the place closed up tight, still I need to do more caulking soon. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

One of the Chicago weather guys this evening said that a lot of them, himself included, woke up this morning and said "What's this?" All their last-night predictions for today were totally wrong. Fine with me, I don't want to turn on the AC again. [edit] But 72 now is too darn warm for this long since sunset. Well, we got rain here for the first time in over a month. The temps' are 4 to 7C, with a possibility of frost over night. Of course there is a good chance of Aurora to night so it is overcast. Bummer man! |
