Hi,

Yesterday I installed Boink on a 64bit Windows 8, but the boinc manager seems to be unable to connect to localhost. The "Add project or account manager..." menuitem doesn't do anything.

I did restart the computer after installation. Is Boinc compatible with windows 8?
I post here as I am only interested in SETI anyway.

[edit]The IT guy did say he has not activated the OS yet. I don't know if that matters or not...

[edit]Nevermind. Its working now. As far as I can tell the only change is that the OS is activated now.
