| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I've been running SETI@home ever since I first found out about it. For one simple reason - I can't think of a single more important thing than a proof that We Are Not Alone.
I kind of think(well hope) that when the day comes we would finally see all humanity as one. Maybe all the wars would seem pointless. Maybe a new spirit of cooperation would take on different challenges like hunger, AIDS, poverty, cancer.
And then heaven may dawn...
