Goodnight TL :)

Well, the kids are at my father-in-laws, holiday can begin:))

*wanders over to the bar*
Koalas my friends, there is an urgent matter to attend to. Please rustle up the finest holiday drink for Julie.

Oh, and I'll have a pint while I wait :)

I'm afraid that the Koalas are having a dip in the TARDIS swimming pool. However; I'm sure that K-9 would make those drinks, won't you K-9?

"Yes, Master."

They showed him exactly how to make every drink available from within Rocky's. K-9 is a very fast learner.

He may make a very good cocktail, and can carry more glasses and plates at a time but there is only one of him against many Koala. I'm also told by one of my guests last night that he's not as "warm and cuddly", an certainly not as good a mind reader.

Two divers off of Morro Bay today got the shock of their lives when two HUGE humpback whales suddenly came up to the surface, with the whales mouths rising out of the water, the two people on the boat(their friends of the divers in the water) nearby said 'they'd never seen anyone swim quite so fast'. The whales were after the bait fish in the water and the fish were trying to get away. I saw this on KCAL TV, I'm glad I can't swim.

I think this would be one of those times
when knowing how to swim was vital.

It's been said that the whales seemed to know the divers were in the water and took pains to avoid them, the whales know what they like and humans are too big and would most likely damage the whales baleen, the baleen is used to strain seawater, so that fish stay in.

I'm not too sure about the Koala being "deficient" when it comes to working with Daleks.
Let me explain.

The last Dalek that visited was greeted at the bar by one of the Koala, who responded to the order "Exterminate" by producing a large quantity of a cocktail known as "PGGB". This was given to the Dalek, who consumes it quite rapidly, announced he needed the rest room (we believe that is what was said). The Koala, sensing something was amiss directed the Dalek to the closet where Marvin resides (you know, the one with a screw missing from the "M"). Some hours later there was a disturbance in the room. Marvin was found sitting in his usual corner bemoaning that he has a brain the size of the Universe, and why was he given the task of tending this crazed tin can with a sucker for a hand. The Dalek, or rather what was left of the Dalek was in the far corner, facing a mirror and its gun feebly trying to discharge....... Marvin explained that the Dalek had burst in on him, then forced him to start telling his life story, which Marvin obliged in doing, but only got through the first few hundred years before the Dalek became even more disturbed, saw the mirror, rushed at it (needless to say reflection rushed real Dalek), challenged it's reflection to a dual and started firing at the mirror (which Marvin has spent many, many hours attempting to make into a perfect mirror...). The damage to the mirror has really upset Marvin.

As Daleks have a data interface one has to assume that Marvin decided that using this might give him a chance to communicate with a "really intelligent being", rather than having to vocalise as he has to when communicating with us...
