Try that with spam. I think it's the salt content Julie, a bit over done, My brother liked spam, Me I like it too, except for the amount of salt and the acid problem I get when I have eaten spam in the past. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Try that with spam. I love SPAM. Grilled to a golden brown, then diced into Mac & Cheese, or in a SPAM & Cheese & spinach & onion quiche, or added to a burger with extra cheese, or just dipped in maple syrup - mmmm. Donald Infernal Optimist / Submariner, retired |

I don't think I've ever tried spam. A person who won't read has no advantage over one who can't read. (Mark Twain) |

Spam is a canned precooked meat product first introduced in 1937. The labelled ingredients in the classic variety of Spam are chopped pork shoulder meat, with ham meat added, salt, water, modified potato starch as a binder, and sodium nitrite as a preservative. Spam's gelatinous glaze, or aspic, forms from the cooling of meat stock. I wonder, has anyone mixed the two together? I know, horrible thought, but I had to ask...
