Hey, I LUV hamburger helper....
Any flavor at all...YUM!

And now they have Tuna helper and Chicken Helper, too.
Plus you can get chicken and roast beef in cans just like tuna.
Works real good with Knorr/Lipton sides and Rice-A-Roni, too.

Not as big a fan of the tuna helper.
Although the kitties might differ in their opinion.
The Knorr side thingys are pretty tasty too.

Aflack!

"Image hosted by Tripod" doesn't look at all like a duck.

My favorite duck is Daffy.

The kitties would probably like to just have the tuna and skip the Helper.

Last night, I had half of a Knorr rice side with half of a Stouffer's spinach souffle and a swai filet, which, strangely, my little fur beast wouldn't eat any of. He likes fish flavored car food, but not actual fish. Weird critter.

Yes, kitties can be quite unusual in their dietary preferences at times.

I can't say that mine have ever had fish flavored car food though....LOL.

It was a white duck, but I didn't notice until too late that it was an infamous tripod domain, they block almost all links... So without further ado, the Duck is back...

There are a couple local parks with ponds with ducks and geese. Also a ponding basin/park near my house that gets a lot of use during Spring rain/migration season. The last three years before we drained our swimming pool, we had ducks visit in the spring. Somewhere I have pictures, I'll post them to the Critter Cafe when I find them.

Our ducks hatched last Friday (when I wasn't here, of course - I was being recognized for 25 years of service) and were promptly marched out to the creek.

Somebody forgot to check the screen over the sewer grates, though, and half the little fluffballs fell in. Mama and the remaining babies had only a small escort cadre as they made their way down the main hallway and out the front door. The determined humans, though, opened the sewers and climbed down to rescue the stuck babies, who were then transported in a garbage can to the creek. Mama came out of hiding to claim them when she heard their desperate cheeping.

There are still two or three eggs in the courtyard that didn't hatch. Anybody want a duck egg omelet?

Both our cats, when they were alive, and the furballs love the taste of Bombay Duck. I find the taste very strongly fishy and not enjoyable ....

I skipped my morning bottle of Cherry Coke Zero, and I'm feeling it now. Good for my kidneys, bad for being awake at my desk.

Uh, cherry coke. Coke ok, Cherry juice ok, but cherry coke is just awful.

and zero is even worse - it may have less calories, but it still triggers all the sugar responses. you can get diabetic from too much sweeteners, beliecve it or not!

Just go for the plain sugar ones and limit the overall calorie intake if you have too.
