Message 1358274 - Posted: 18 Apr 2013, 20:23:31 UTC

One past post before I go out and see how hard it's raining now.

The street in the next block was flooded deeper than I've ever seen it this morning. I had to drive severn blocks out of my way to get to work and still had to drive through water in two places. The boss stayed home to bail out her basement.

They dismissed the kids at noon, but could we go home too? Nooooooo... Well, we could, but they'd dock our pay. We could go a little early and make it up tomorrow. They also didn't serve lunch. Most of us canceled our meal time and left half an hour early. (So what am I still doing here 23 minutes later???)

Posting with no sinkholes or other problems...

Lucky you...

My problems sometimes are very painful, I took 4 tylenol yesterday, all at once, just cause of some hip joint damage that I got from a fall that broke a leg in 2002 and dislocated the right hip, the hip in pain was the left hip, over a decade later I'm still feeling echoes of that fall...

My sympathies, Vic. In 1993 I sneezed while bending over to lift the garbage from under the sink, and my back has never been the same since (subluxated L5).

Winning before bed.

My Win 7 x64 PC is playing up by creating errors when I use the AMD Catalyst drivers 13.1, 13.3bets and 12.8. This is pissing me off, and means I am far from WIN*** ....

NOT winning, but feeling a whole lot less bad than earlier today. A very good friend lost her battle with cancer today, and she is the 3rd good friend I've lost in 3 weeks.

I'll visit the fireplace in Rocky's tomorrow, for now I'm off to bed. You all stay well, I've had enough of death for this month........

Please, please, please tell me that those were not 500mg of Paracetamol per tablet! :o

Paracetamol (tylenol in the US) is quite effective when taken according to the leaflet but can cause severe liver damage when overdosed. And never ever drink alcohol when you've had some.

Friday or so win or something.

Vic, I think, has already stated he does not drink alcohol.

As to his other problems or witnesses, I am not one.

Yes, it's Friday again. Now I wonder how I know that?

Maybe because I started to speak my mind again and a mod overstepped their bounds?\
Oh, could not be.

Oh, could not be.

*spock* [for those who don't know that's that 'raise one eyebrow' trick of Spock in the old Starteck series]

Well the day started out crap, went downhill from there and appears firmly set for abyssimal.

Therefore I'm due a win.
