On a cold night like we've been having, that comfy chair should be close to the fireplace. Yes, a hot meal, a cold beer, a comfy chair by a warm fire...... and good friends. Life is good.......
I used to make campfires in the garden. The kids just loved it! But over here I'm not allowed to do that, pity...
I have a small metal firepit on the patio under the mulberry trees. It's just right for a few hours on cool spring and fall evenings....

As for the chocolate fountain - did you hear about the "incident" in it a short time ago??
Not as yet, but I always did think that it was a bit reckless to provide such a facility. Lets be honest here, allowing the girls, un-chaperoned, unlimited access to such amenities, was always going to end up in calamity at some point.
I trust our insurance paid up without to much ado?

I never had a gay moment in my life, even in the old days.........
There are some thoughts on the subject, though.
There are some visions that certain artists have had throughout the years on the subject.
One who I was intimate with at one time...Joan Jett.
One who is now gone, Freddy Mercury.
Many more. One has to wonder why so many creative souls went either or both ways.
There must be a point in their minds that directs their souls.
And I am not so sure right now they were pointed in the wrong direction.
Suzi Q is totally straight, as far as I know.
Joan is as yet undetermined, but willing to explore. At least as much a a 50yo wants to 'touch'......yes, babe, I am still yours.
The point is, there is a reason in the brain that some of us are kinda 'out there', and I am not so sure it is us that are the ones on the outside.
Let me get this straight......I am not gay.
Can't identify with it.
But I have to wonder if I have some genes that would lead me down that path..........

At 8pm this evening, it will be exactly 2 years ago my angel Oonah died.
Difficult week I'm having...Luckily it doesn't seem to influence the kids too much.
The loss of a small child may well be one of the most painful things a person can experience.
Two years can be both an eternity and a mere moment in time....
Children can be incredibly resilient. A Blessing, I believe.
A toast, then, to her memory.
And a Health to those left behind, to Continue on Life's journey,
and to always Remember...
[Smash! into the corner of the fireplace....]
