Remove the limits before that, because all machines will be very cold.

Will we be provided with sufficient work to carry over those dates?

Of course not! You were never promised that any work would be available. Join another project.

Thanks for the heads up. I shall just keep doing whatever my other chosen projects give me, if I can't get enough from you to keep those little crunching things inside the magic box from getting bored.

Its all automatic this end. If there's not enough time needed for SETI, work on other important things. SETI gets the first bite, then the rest fight it out between them.

Only if YOU set your cache level to a sufficient level, with a RAC of 275 you only need a couple of extra tasks to tide you over.

We seem to be back in a "extremely hard to get a valid scheduler response" mode - something appears to have happened since ~6 AM today (Berkeley time) I'm getting a lot of either "no headers' or "timeout reached" with the occasional "failure receiving data from peer" and the very occasional time when a scheduler request gets through.

Note that these are happening with even simple 'update my stats' scheduler requests - not reporting WU's or requesting them...

Thanks for the heads up. As a suggestion, since only a small percent of the users read the message boards, an email to the user base would probably be in order.

I'm part of the user base, not part of the SETI staff… I'm attempting to alert that staff - since I know that they read this thread.

Well, it appears system is working "half way" now. Manager has been trying almost 2 hours to upload a completed file as well as "update" stats with credits for this job. However, did receive 2 new jobs in the interim. Appears to be a selective server issue from my limited perspective.

FYI.

The above response is one of the reasons I no longer process Seti files. You beg us for money, You beg us to use or machines, and when we ask for work, we get wise A$$ answers like that. I have moved on to other projects, and have had NONE, ZERO, problems that I had with Seti, nor have I ever seen or gotten a WISE A$$ Answer like that. Keep it up . . and you will have only the HARD CORE people supporting you who , are too stubborn to leave. I left, and have never been happier.

I still like to check back once and a while so see if your “Growing pains ???” have been rectified, (they have not ). Yea yea I know you never promised any work, you just beg to use are machines . . . . for nothing !
