The servers are behaving in their usual manner - badly... Some people are suffer from being unable to up/down load any work, while others are having no problems. Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

For several days now I have not been and to upload completed task or download any new, are the servers still offline ? They're not offline, but they are having lots of trouble. Sit back and don't fret over it. If you want, add another project to your Boinc so you're still doing something for someone somewhere [but give it a low resource share so that when Seti work gets through to you again your computer will give most of its effort to that ;-) ] David Sitting on my butt while others boldly go, Waiting for a message from a small furry creature from Alpha Centauri. |

ah thanks, seems like I am one of those suffering the problems then. So the PC is getting a rest, with no units to crunch. |

The servers are behaving in their usual manner - badly... ... And the others (plus those having partial success) are sufficient to keep the Cricket graph showing the download pipe fully occupied. Joe |

For myself, I get the message about project communication failed timeout reached, attempting access to reference site, internet okay and project servers maybe down |

I have some hosts without work but if I go to see them here http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/results.php?hostid=5381180 I see that they have 3323 task in progress. Other case is this http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/results.php?hostid=6334665 (no work but 86 running. Other hosts are going to finish work. Of course I cannot get any new job if seti is thinking that I have what I don't have ... |

I have some hosts without work but if I go to see them here http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/results.php?hostid=5381180 I see that they have 3323 task in progress. For a time (not sure how long, but I hope it wasn't more than a couple of days) they had turned off lost-task-resends. That's how you built up a bunch of work the server thought you had that you didn't really (we call them ghosts). But, if you're requesting the same kind of work, you should be getting them now (if you ever have successful work requests at all).
