Winning at home caring for Suz...she had what we thought was an ear infection but is actually a skin infection causing swelling inside her ear and a lot of pain. Now she's on oral antibiotics and mega dosages of Advil.

When I was 12, I was considered the best archer My Boy Scout Troop had and with no training or practice, I had the power as I was 5'10.5" tall back then and I could get in the red zone, but without guidance and practice I could never get into the Yellow zone for a bullseye...

I could use it in my gun club.
I prefer a .357 Magnum though.

None around here, I got to camp once a year for 5 days, the rest of the time, nothing, Dad was not interested in sports of any type, He was only concerned with making a living...

There I was, still awake.
Like a zombie, my thirst to slake.
These days go by with such a speed,
that I'm forced the time to concede.
It's good to be back amongst friends and colleagues

He was a paper route manager for the Copley chain of Newspapers and from what I understand, pretty danged good too. He managed delivery of newspapers by paperboys. While He worked for old man Copley He singled handledly saved the Burbank Herald, in Burbank CA, this was back in the 1960's of course.

The Copley Newspaper chain has been rumored to be associated with the Central Intelligence Agency since 1947.(Wikipedia}

Hey Vic, ya dad may have been doing something even more important than you
actually realised.

Nah, He was home every night, when I was old enough I delivered Newspapers by bicycle for about 2 years, for the Herald Examiner before it's demise later on. Dad was offered a pay raise and a promotion to Circulation Manager, but He turned that down, He wanted a raise, not more pressure. Today papers are delivered by truck and no children are employed to deliver Newspapers...

Sorry, We did once drive north early in 1971 on a business trip looking for a better paying job, like He already had, all the way to the northern side of the Oregon/Washington border, before turning around for Home, He had budgeted all of $2,000.00 for the trip up north, Mom only came cause He had the car and the checkbook, Me I came too, but I liked seeing new places, before that We went to Yosemite and towed a Scotsman rental travel trailer behind the car, He was heavily into slides, which I inherited and can't watch, as I have no slide projector... Yet.

Big thing in the 60's & 70's the old slide photography, not sure if slide
projectors are still available to day.
I was hoping that you'd say your dad did once get a Christmas card from a chap
by the name of J.E. Hoover, now that would have been an eye-opener.

Quite a few 2nd hand slide projectors on USA E-bay but they are asking silly
prices at the moment.
