Well I put in two new video cards and now only one is being used. I had two before and both were used.

I have no experiences with Windows 7. <cc_config>
<options>
<use_all_gpus>1</use_all_gpus>
</options>
</cc_config> If this don't work, maybe you need to extend the Windows Desktop also to the 2nd GPU. If this don't work, maybe you need a dummy screen plug connected with your 2nd GPU.

I saw some results with x32f_cuda32 and some with x41g_cuda32 app.

I saw some results with x32f_cuda32 and some with x41g_cuda32 app. But where can I find this download? ____________

I saw some results with x32f_cuda32 and some with x41g_cuda32 app. From an older post of msattler... It's just a line added to your cc_config file. 1. exit BOINC 2. go to ProgramData\Boinc directory 3. find cc_config file and edit it with notepad 4. find at the end line use_all_gpus>0</use_all_gpus> and change it to use_all_gpus>1</use_all_gpus> If the option is not there, add it. 5. save it If you do not have a cc_config file, you will have to create it. ____________

You have already the Lunatics Installer V0.4, because your PC use already the x41g_cuda32 app. But it looked strange, some results with x32f_cuda32 and some with x41g_cuda32 app. When you used the Lunatics Installer V0.4? For a short time? By the way .. You use BOINC DEV-V7.0.31. I would use only the recommended versions, currently V7.0.28. Maybe DEV-V7.0.31 don't work properly.

Ahh .. - sorry, I looked again, the x41g_cuda32 app was new in Lunatics Installer V0.39.

I made the cc_config.xml file and put the suggested data in it and I am now working with both GPUs.

Well I put in two new video cards and now only one is being used. I had two before and both were used. There is a Wacky GPU memory reporting Bug with the recent Boinc 7 clients, because the available GPU memory is reported wrong, Boinc then doesn't use both GPUs because they aren't similar enough, Boinc 7.0.36 has a partial fix, But there are changes to the (internal) flops reported for the GPU, and because of the changes, existing GPU Wu's will be on the verge of going Maximum time exceeded, so any GPU Wu's should be completed prior to upgrading to Boinc 7.0.36 (new GPU Wu's will get a revised <rsc_fpops_est> figure so will complete O.K) Claggy

Will be the currently BOINC DEV-V7.0.36 maybe the new recommended version in near future?

Will be the currently BOINC DEV-V7.0.36 maybe the new recommended version in near future? Probably not, as it still has half the Wacky GPU memory reporting Bug, in my case it was the total GPU memory that was reported wrong, while the other testers reported it was the available GPU memory that was wrong (that was fixed in 7.0.36), the fix for the Total GPU memory Bug should be in Boinc 7.0.37 Claggy

Will be the currently BOINC DEV-V7.0.36 maybe the new recommended version in near future? Is this just a Linux issue or across Windows too, I haven't seen it in Windows but I have in Linux. ____________

Will be the currently BOINC DEV-V7.0.36 maybe the new recommended version in near future? As far as i know it was just Windows, as the only testers that responded in the Boinc Alpha list were running Windows (and the private drops were only for Windows), doesn't mean that it doesn't also effect Linux, you could try Boinc 7.0.36 and see if it is partially fixed. (The available memory should be fixed) Claggy

I can confirm that total memory detection is broken on Linux, too. 10/18/2012 12:03:59 AM Starting BOINC client version 7.0.36 for x86_64-pc-linux-gnu ... 10/18/2012 12:03:59 AM NVIDIA GPU 0: GeForce GTX 570 (driver version unknown, CUDA version 4.20, compute capability 2.0, 134214911MB, 1212MB available, 1498 GFLOPS peak) 10/18/2012 12:03:59 AM OpenCL: NVIDIA GPU 0: GeForce GTX 570 (driver version 295.71, device version OpenCL 1.1 CUDA, 1279MB, 1212MB available) It works for OpenCL, but not CUDA (and still no driver version detection; will this be fixed?). ____________
