Not sure it's better than Win, but it's different and free!

Probably the only thing you can't do is play high end games.

Why would you pay?

And of course it's Minty :-)

How much time do you have to listen to that list ?

Hmmmm

One of the reasons I wanted to install a Linux distro on my laptop was to use it on a daily basis and see just how practical it really is. I'll see if I can stay on Mint and not boot to Win.

I will report!

Must have for me.

Not a win! This is my car earlier today:

On Sunday the steering rack sprang a leak on the way home from the supermarket, i managed to limp it back to my car park, by which point the rack had all but seized solid.

My breakdown service turned out to be useless, Roadside Rescue, would only move the car to the nearest garage, not what i wanted, since it's a Halfrauds garage.

Fortunately, i have a very generous and well-connected father who managed to borrow a trailer for free, and towed the car back home to a garage owned by an old friend of his.

I've sourced a replacement rack, not too pricey either, a set of seals is £35, a whole new rack is only £65.
The reason it's in the garage is because to replace the rack the subframe has to come off, and since it's been on the car for over 18 years might be a little hard to shift. Much easier for them on a proper lift than for me on axle stands.

Most breakdown services limit the tow. I belong to the AutoClub of So California. They will only tow you 15 miles or to the nearest repair facility. That means any shop within the 15 miles, but the nearest if your farther than than. I really put them to the test once. I broke down in Death Valley. Nearest repair shop was over 280 miles. They didn't bat an eye.

No aurora here yet, but you can see the Seven Sisters in the east, and the Milky Way is glorious over head, even Jupiter is coming up. I gotta get my camera hooked up to the reflector scope soon.

Winning after an MRI scan. Last year I had a brain haemorrhage because of the accident and now the doctor wants to know if everything is still OK up there.

It`s bin week/day, [once a fortnight]
I think i will get a tracking device for my bin
so it is easier to find after they empty it,
Its the usual `find the bin` game after they empty them.
and yes we do all have names/numbers on the bins and the house
