I copied this from the Facebook wall of The Norman Goldman Show

Our FB friend Shaun M. Smith sent me this as a message - it's too good not to share! Thank YOU, Shaun!

Hello republicans here are a few facts for you contemplate:

After The 8 Years Of The Bush/Cheney Disaster, Now You decide to loose your dam mind?

You didn't get mad when the Supreme Court stopped a legal recount and appointed a President.

You didn't get mad when Cheney allowed Energy company officials to dictate Energy policy and push us to invade Iraq.

You didn't get mad whe
n a covert CIA operative got outed.

You didn't get mad when the Patriot Act got passed.

You didn't get mad when we illegally invaded a country that posed no threat to us.

You didn't get mad when Bush borrowed more money from foreign sources than the previous 42 Presidents combined.

You didn't get mad when over 10 billion dollars in cash just disappeared in Iraq.

You didn't get mad when you found out we were torturing people.

You didn't get mad when Bush embraced trade and outsourcing policies that shipped 6 million American jobs out of the country.

You didn't get mad when the government was illegally wiretapping Americans.

You didn't get mad when we didn't catch Bin Laden.

You didn't get mad when Bush rang up 10 trillion dollars in combined budget and current account deficits.

You didn't get mad when you saw the horrible conditions at Walter Reed.

You didn't get mad when we let a major US city, New Orleans, drown.

You didn't get mad when we gave people who had more money than they could spend, the filthy rich, over a trillion dollars in tax breaks.

You didn't get mad with the worst 8 years of job creations in several decades.

You didn't get mad when over 200,000 US Citizens lost their lives because they had no health insurance.
You didn't get mad when lack of oversight and regulations from the Bush Administration caused US Citizens to lose 12 trillion dollars in investments, retirement, and home values.

You finally got mad when a black man was elected President and decided that people in America deserved the right to see a doctor if they are sick.

Yes, illegal wars, lies, corruption, torture, job losses by the millions, stealing your tax dollars to make the rich richer, and the worst economic disaster since 1929 are all okay with you, but helping fellow Americans who are sick...Oh, Hell No!!

Yes, I have been known to generate a bit of discussion from time to time.

That.. I nominate for understatement of the day.

I guess Marks initial post with keywords: Obama, dictator, remove, what ever means; has already being filtered by CIA, FBI crunchers for possible risk?!

So I heard that super crunchers there to filter every digital trace of any interest.

Anybody reading the thread in it's entire context will have no problem discerning that I pose no threat.

The chances are in the dark office of FBI building agent Mulder and agent Skully are digging through all your forums posts in the last 24 hrs and they seem not so happy from some of your past posts. Probably agent Mulder dialing some numbers and beginning to filter all your email accounts and phone calls!!

Joking! ;)

But you sounds like a citizen of a communist regime! Is your regime that tough?!

I am voting for Obama. I have actually done better under his Presidency and we've both seen a significant rise in our incomes.

Hollywood Celebs voting for OBlabby in 1%; 0.1%; 0.01%; 0.001%; 0.0001%; 0.00001% of Top Earners also had a significant rise in their incomes.

They reconcile their Vast Incomes and Vast Net Worths by deciding to pay 1% and less in Extra Taxes and Charitable donations.

Also, their Photo OPs in The Flood Waters of NOLA; the Blowing Sands of Sudan; Moraines of Melted Glaciers; Hovels of Haiti and other Photo OPs that remove The Shiny Glare of Their 1% earnings against The Dullness Of Desolation, soften into acceptance and a Good Nights Sleep, The Philosophical Dichotomies they Live and Endure.

And those Voting For Pitiful in The Ranks of Unemployment numbers Much Higher than Seasonally Adjusted Rate can only Hope For A Change not predicated on A Speech, Big Smile, Handshake/Hug and Photo. Good Luck.

I'll support Obama too compare to other american Ivory Tower presidents he has considerable reality touch. Plus his wife has a lot potential politician hidden inside.

My guess is when their daughters graduate high school Michelle might run for presidency very likely. Because she is a pro lawyer and she has learnt tons of class lessons right inside the white house or she has seriously graduated Bachelors degree in Presidency in the last 4 years.

Blurf, sadly many who make much more than you pay a much smaller percent in taxes than you probably. One of them thinks that qualifies him to be our leader.

13% of one million dollars is $130,000. How much did you say you paid in Federal Income tax last year? I'll wager it was nothing.

Message 1280084 - Posted: 5 Sep 2012, 0:16:44 UTC

It is The Job Of The People to pay as little tax as possible, and The Government's Job to do As Much As Possible with The Little they get.

Government in General and OBlabby in Particular have convinced many, tax paying is sacrosanct and patriotic. Pitiful.

Be American and Keep Your Pay. You Earned It.

Let The Government Struggle, Not The People.

Bill, I am retired and sadly off the bottom of the chart. I would be ecstatic to have the income to be taxed!! OBW when I was working my federal tax rate was well over 25%.
As an aside what does you question have to do with my questioning the equity of somebody making well over a mil paying a lower percent than a working slob?

When you pay your $130,000 then you have credibility in your comments.

I personally find it offensive if somebody who pays nothing comments on somebody paying in many tens of thousands of dollars and is saying that they should pay more. You know what: I think that you are the one not paying your fair share. You are certainly not paying as much as Romney.

Interesting because you are just as offensive saying I pay "nothing"....trust me, my wife and I have a strong tax rate because we've done so well.
