	I'm getting rather tired of these Religion threads. All of them are the same people, saying the same things to each other, over and over like a broken record and it's obvious that neither side will convince the other to change their minds. I acknowledge that it is a very personal subject but from the number of threads on this subject over the last 12 months everybody knows where everyone else stands on the matter, so there is no need to keep rehashing the same old stuff over and over again. At least in the political threads we have Fourth Angel and Sirius B to provide some interesting and humourous asides. Believe or disbelieve as is your wont, I just don't care. T.A. An attempt to organize it one thread, "The Great Debate", in the spirit of Qui-Gon's old "Religious Thread #x" was ... . Well, you get the picture. Maybe.

I too look forward to the enlightenment. They were also saying no to the assertion that Jerusalem is the capitol of Israel. Or most likely saying no the idea that both these religious ideas have a place in politics. After all, we eat babies and don't know how to behave morally because there is no book telling us what to do. I'll have you know I am very restrained even though there is a church across the street and they keep parking on my lawn. I don't try to throw them to the lions or anything. I'm thinking of having a "Get of my lawn" sign made up with a no Jesus sign. Still, as long as they can keep their religion out of politics then I don't care what they believe. 	Blurf, it was one of those wild generalization things. You know, like saying that ALL Teapublicans believe in the concept of 'legitimate rape' or that all Teapublicans believe that government hand outs should only go to the wealthy, or that Obama is a Socialist. We know less than 99% of Teapublicans believe this sort of foolishness. It is interesting, back when the Republican Party was the Republican Party instead of the TeaPublican Party, their platform made no mention of God. It is kind of sad that this sort of generalization blindness goes for intelligence these days.
