Quite right I say; that should take care of any discombobulating consequences.

I'd filled out an application for a mortgage, but backed out, as I don't have the required down payment for a Bank, beyond what I get per month I'm only allowed to save $1,145.60 total, far too little for a house that's priced at $52,000.00 currently that needs some stucco on a part of the outside of a hud home and paint in 2 out of 3 bedrooms, the paint is ignorable, unless one is a perfectionist, plus I have no money for moving yet, so I couldn't go through with the application to the final step. Once I have the $901.00 for moving and utility setup deposits, then I can apply to the USDA Rural Development Department, which will require no down payment, so until I'm ready, I'll wait as that's all that I can do...

I knew an oxymoron.
The offcut that he cut off the I girder fell on the pipes and cut through them and the sparks lit the gas.

Have you ever seen the space shuttle take off . . .

Winning, but not really.

Too much caffeine at the VFW social tonight - still trying to wind down enough to go to sleep.

Found out another local Submarine Shipmate got his Final Orders last Friday - helping plan the Celebration of Life next week. Curt commissioned the USS Plunger (SSN-595) in November 1962, and I decommissioned her in January 1990. We'll scatter half his ashes on the ranch in the Sierras that he worked for 25 years, the other half will go to Davy Jones' locker via submarine.

But for us, the living.....
Off to bed, to try again to sleep...
