My dear Sir, How could you possibly even think that.

Real ales please, and if you start with London Pride you might be going some way to redeeming yourself :-)

Had a London Pride on the weekend. There are a few places here that have it on tap.

And in less than 100 days, the world is stopping by for the Olympics for a couple weeks, hope Yer all prepared for the onslaught.

Can't beat a pint of Guinness!

London Pride on the other hand, i'd rather wring out the beer mats than drink that!

Yea, booked a holiday to go trekking across the Sahara desert for those two
weeks. They say the scenery in the Sahara will be more interesting than that
from watching the Olympics....I'll be taking my bucket and spade but they do
say that the sea tide does tend to go out for quite a long period of time...
exactly how long, I do not know, but when I return I will let you know.....I'll
be sending a post card or two.

Never had London Pride. I like a wide variety of Pilsners, Ales, Porters and Stouts. I really don't like Munchen (a typical variety mede in Munich, I believe).

In the mid 60's there was draught Mackeson, but it didn't take off and it only lasted about a year. It was absolutely gorgeous and like a sweeter type of Guinness. Loved the stuff. I suppose the equivalent today would be something like Murphy's.

I am not certain I would like it. I really don't like Red-Dragon as it is a sticky sweet stout.

It is much sweeter than Murphy's, it's been years since I drank one though.
