Dolphin is putting another comp online and the fishes have gone. Where are the mb cuda wu's hiding? Here fishes here fishes. Or have those kitties had them for a snack again? Kitties seem to be doing OK....... No change in limits...sux. But they are getting a nominal amount of kibble. ____________ ****** "Ask not, what your kitty can do for you. Why am I getting "no new tasks available" all the time? Just bad request timing I guess or your version of BOINC which is notorious for its extra long backoff times, or a bit of both. I'm using 6.10.56/32-bit and 6.10.60/64-bit myself so I don't get those extra long backoff times. Or I could just be 1 of the luckiest people around. :D Cheers. ____________

Why am I getting "no new tasks available" all the time? I am still hovering around the limits on both machines, even though I run the 6.12.x series. ____________

I am still hovering around the limits on both machines, even though I run the 6.12.x series. Same on my new Linux machine, but there haven't been an AP available while I have had it running, all MBs get downloaded in a few secs every time and without any backoffs, interesting to see what happens when new APs comes...

Well, you all by now know what I want, so I don't have to spell it out. However, I'm not getting what I want, as usual.

Where are the APs to fill up the Cricket graph and our AP caches ?? Problem is, as you were looking at the status page, AP tends to split several times faster than MB. They tend to go in batches rather than a steady supply. We'll get 10 new tapes show up, and AP burns through them in a matter of hours, where MB takes a day+. It does pain me to say it, but maybe instead of 4 [edit: 6.. that must be a recent addition)] AP splitters.. scale back to 1 and see if it matches pace with MB better? ____________ Linux laptop uptime: 1484d 22h 42m Ended due to UPS failure, found 14 hours after the fact

Where are the APs to fill up the Cricket graph and our AP caches ?? Yeah, I have wondered too why they run all those AP splitters when there is any APs available. I vote for 1 or max 2 splitters for AP, that would balance out stuff in comparison to MB. At least it's worth trying. ____________ /The grumpy old Swede. Serous upload problems at the moment, only managed to upload 3 shorties in last 45 minutes and as they only take 2 min to crunch, my uploads pending queue is growing rapidly. Upload server seems to be OK, but cricket graph shows bandwidth maxed out and upload rate falling rapidly. I suspect its connected to the current shortie storm.

The Server Status page is missing most of it's content. Something's happening that isn't good.

I suspect it's either the APs messing things up again or that there's is some upload server problems.
