Is there some reason the daily update hasn't been done for about 5 days? Just curious, mind you... |

Several other threads about this problem - the replica database is off-line and that's where the stats are delivered from... Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

How many more times is this question going to be asked I wonder when the question has already been answered many times. Cheers. |

Stats dump has occured. Prepare for the best (worst) day for a long time, when BOINCstats have imported the stats data. All of the big dumps seem to be near the holidays. Which really throws my stat tracking off. SETI@home classic workunits: 93,865 CPU time: 863,447 hours Join the [url=http://tinyurl.com/8y46zvu]BP6/VP6 User Group[ |

I got almost 7.7 million in a day.... Well, I only have 8 computers on the kitty farm, not like your vast prairie. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

Unfortunately it will soon become a vast desert. I have stretched it out as long as I could but now all of the chassis I was using need to return to their real jobs. SETI and Einstein all have enough users to piuck up the slack I am sure. It was fun while it lasted. |

We did actually have to get a new feed directly from the power sub-station down the street and we are using a new technology for cooling the cabinets for all of those rack mounted servers. |

Unfortunately not. The cooling system uses an isolated chilled water system. |

Got the following question for you: Typically running on BOINC Manager 6.10.58, I have both CUDA-based as well as non CUDA-based tasks in my task list. If I use the web or work with my files, I would like to turn off the CUDA-option. But when finished working, I would turn it on again. But my monitor card has a built-in fan. The software is set to run these CUDA tasks anyway if no keyboard or mouse activity is being detected. Last night, when I only was sitting here doing nothing, the noise coming from the monitor card fan became quite a bit of nuisance before I pushed the mouse. In Preferences, the "Only after computer has been idle for" is set to 3,00 minutes. The box is inactive if the "Use GPU while computer is in use" is set. Of course, I could choose not to download any CUDA-based tasks by means of setting that option using my Seti-account preferences, but that not is really what I not want to do. Could I try setting 0,00 minutes in that box rather than 3,00 minutes? Would this change work with that number? |
