Best wishes to your Granny Magenta. Good afternoon folks. Off for my 1 day of work this week. Had a family member pass a few weeks back and are now having the funeral this Friday, so I took 3 days off of work for bereavement leave to help with whatever I can help with.

when i'm feeling blue
then i think of you
here in the heart

when life's going wrong
you send me a song
here in the heart

when i'm running late
you don't make me wait
here in the heart

when i'm losing my mind
you're not hard to find
here in the heart

for all that you give
my gratitude lives
here in the heart

So thereI was, forgot to rhyme,
although Dan reminded me in time.
But, lack of sleep and cold winds
is no excuse from filling the bins.

I'm back on the boards, and it's Poets' Day
Time to stretch my mind as I have my say
The days are short, the nights are cold
And today I am feeling very old

I work long hours, the machines must run
Sometimes it's hard, sometimes it's fun
They break, we fix them best we can
And then we run them hard again.

Often I ache when I get home
But a hot bath waits, beneath the foam
I'll sink and lie and soon the pain
Goes with the bubbles down the drain

A hot meal and a cold beer
Then to the computer and transport here
At Cafe Seti I can always find
Friends and laughter and a jolly good time.

That describes sometimes how I feel.
Age is thing that we cannot steal.
That long hot bath and soak,
with a cold beer and meal makes a good cloak.

Let me see, I’ll just take a quick boo outside to look for snow. Well it is not so bad, there is only about an inch or so on the ground. This is much better than it was last year at this time. The temps’ are only about 8 to 10 below Celsius.

Not here, but reports there is some falling 30 miles North of here.

Variable weather ATM, but it is now bright sunshine, if blustery and cold.

Had some snow during the night, 'twas very cold this morning. It's all melted now but the forecast looks like we may get some more tonight.

No snow here, but frost on the pumpkins the past 4 mornings.
Laid two of my picnic benches on their sides on the patio to make a wind-break, and put out some old burlap bags I found in the garage, so the neighborhood kitties who frequent my yard can snuggle up warm at night. I counted 8 cats in my yard when I can home from work today.
