Well Pasi, since you asked, let me pull out a picture from Grandma's Brag Book!

Eric took this shot of the three babies tonight.

Logan Frodo is the raccoon with his mouth open, complaining that there were not enough grapes on the menu this evening. Logan Frodo is the tamest of the bunch. He is smart and good looking, just like his Godmothers Uli and Karen. He really, really, really likes grapes!

Otis is the raccoon next to Logan Frodo. In this shot he is quite busy eating cat food. I'm afraid that Otis is Trouble with a capital "T" that rhymes with "D" that stands for his Godfather Dave. Depending on what I am wearing in the evening, Otis loves to hang out under the deck and then make a grab for my bathrobe strings, my pant legs or my shoe laces. He is the first raccoon I have ever had who consistently tries to disrobe me!!!

Floyd is very shy and reserved, just like his Godfather John. The paw coming out from under the deck is Floyd. Floyd refuses to come out from under the deck if I am outside. He will only let me view him from behind a closed window, and if I make any sudden moves in the house he immediately goes below deck.

So as you can see, the babies are happy, healthy and doing quite well.

I suggest you get young Logan some more grapes.......

That picture of Frodo instantly reminded me of the quest where the two were journeying together.

Kind of like the kids, same Mum n’ Dad, nine kids, nine different personalities.

Similar to some UK single mothers.
Single mother and 8 children,
all by different men.
All with the same personality
"Can we grab much benefit" from our situation.

It's when you compare this behaviour
you realise how nice these critters are.
Especially the sights and sounds they give
Angela and Eric when they are wild.
It's good to be back amongst friends and colleagues

Oh my. I'll try and have a Godfatherly talk with the young fellow and set him straight. He'll never get anywhere from under the deck!

Otis! You have to approach 'em head on, I say head on, son!

Interesting, how different personalities there can be in one litter. I might imagine, that this is one way of adaptation: depending on the circumstances, this or that strategy works best. And in the long run, having different strategies is the best strategy.

Yes, I have long speculated the same thing. A wide range of temperament/ personality differences across siblings would probably be adaptive and beneficial. Such variation seems to imply a higher probability that at least one raccoon from each litter might survive to reproduce itself, despite the demands of the environment.

I only sent Otis the one email honest, and when he said I fancy Angela, I said oh yes? pull the other one ...

Merciful heavens! Gentlemen, please let me remind you that I love my husband. In the future, should that ever change, you will be duly informed.

I found this over at the Huffington Post and I thought of this thread.

Ah, puppy love.

This adorable pup just wants to play and cuddle and hug and kiss and be friends forever and ever.

This cat doesn't seem too fond of the idea.

Sure, bright-eyed dogs can be a little clingy sometimes, but, really, all they want is somebody to love. Right?

See the darling duo for yourself:

I am sorry to hear of the loss of your family dog, Jim. But, the good thing was you had his company for the last 18.5 years, a much better than average life span.

Als sorry that your luck down continues.

Recover in all ways soon.

Squirrels are what they eat, Nuts!

Or at least that's the way they appear to US and I'm glad the cute little squirrel is ok too.
