Can I WIN a U.S. Submarine's Nomad? Doesn't matter as you aren't winning. |

Actually It's Basketball Season, I hear Granny is hunting Basketballs, Golfs are later of course. ;) Heck with Basketball..... how many days until Spring Training starts? When the boys of summer come back, then I'll REALLY be winning! Go Cubs! Go Giants! Go Visalia Rawhide (local Class-A California League team)! Donald Infernal Optimist / Submariner, retired |

Can I WIN a U.S. Submarine's Nomad? If you do win one, where are you going to keep it? I don't think they will let you park it at the Berkeley Marina. Donald Infernal Optimist / Submariner, retired |

There's a golf season? You would have had to watch the original Beverly Hillbillies on CBS years ago, Granny thought there was. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Can I WIN a U.S. Submarine's Nomad? Sorry. Couldn't resist the pic of the personal submarine. I want one, too, but don't have anywhere close to keep it. Local lakes are too shallow. Morro Bay area is too far to drive, i'd have to move to the coast.... Now there's a thought.... Donald Infernal Optimist / Submariner, retired |

that is just it.. those things are big enough to move into..(although there is one megayacht that uses one for a dinghy).. only way to afford it is to become wealthy. Step 1: Win lotto Step 2: Buy Private luxury submarine Step 3: Hakuna Matada! Step 4 WIN! Janice |

Having lived on several boats ranging in size from 37 to 76 feet, I can tell you that a 65 foot Nomad sub would not be very liveable. If you look at the floor plan. There's no room for a washer and dryer. Much less an ironing board. There no vent in the galley. Try cooking with garlic or onions and you'll suffocate everyone aboard. The better idea is to buy the smaller Discovery and hang it from your Yacht. Then just go under when you arrive at an interesting place. Hey if we are going to dream then dream big. By the way, Morro Bay is not a good choice for as sub harbor. I have run aground in a kayak! It's a very shallow harbor. |
