Off topic I know, but, I've got loads of LHC WU's trying to find their way back home, and, for some reason (apart from an obvious one), they can't manage it.
Is anyone else having any trouble getting onto the LHC website, or sending back WU's, when I last looked last night (0200 UTC) the project was down as usual, but it's usually back up by 0400 UTC, info anyone?

Jup, simple HTTP 503: Service not available.
The server is physically down or disconnected from the net.

Having the same problem here, as Uli said the server must be physically down or disconnected. Hopefully they are working on the problem and will be up soon ;)

Oh well never mind, at least (touches head in lieu of wood) seti and cpdn are ok.

BTW, I love that view you have as your avatar, I used to scuba dive in various places around the Scottish coast, above water, the scenery never once ceased to be totally beautiful, under water, the life could be awesome, alas, lack of employment and therefore money, mean that I can't get there anymore, consider me very envious.

still out of order.

even the upload are not going trough/up

Server futsch/killed/kaputt/cassé/crashed/brocken/stolen/melted/exploded?

It's never/nie unamusing/langweilig there, a lot of "action"..

Like the wheather, daily chainging.

There is the possibility to print our results and send them by classic mail to
CERN, destination LHC ;-)

Perhaps a FAX could work too.

Thanks Ken, hope not to make you even more envious but, this is an actual view from my upper bedroom window (Buchanness lighthouse, Boddam, by Peterhead), as a matter of interest BT have now extended the range of Broadband (I was 250m short) I plan to install a live webcam somewhere upstairs, changing the view every other day, I hope to have this sorted out soon. Watch this space.....

Regards

Willie

ps: just changed my profile pic showing same view but on a calmer day.

Yeah, me too, starting at about 1:00 am this morning. I tried to access the web site and can't get through to it either. Don't know what's up with them. Can't believe they'd pull the plug this early in the game.
