I may know If I got the USDA Mortgage soon and by soon It may be on Friday or next week as I called My contact at the USDA and filled Her in on the house the Agent and I looked at, plus all the warts, such as they are, And the USDA said if the Bank who owns the House will pay for repairs($2500-$3000 total is My guess), Then the USDA will allow the house, Otherwise It's No Sale, I also gave the USDA My agents two phone numbers and the Banks Phone number too, The House has a valuation by zillow.com of about $70,000.00 and It's in a Quiet Neighborhood too according to a Neighbor who has some Halloween decorations out in the Front Lawn(Angela the place has a kindred spirit next door, He has a zombie or skeleton climbing out of His front lawn/graveyard). So progress is being made and It may be a few days more of course before I get permission to make an offer or not(If I'm approved and I think I might be), Also the Bank repossessed the House on Aug 20, 2010 Sold (Public Records) for $47,747.00, So the House is for sale for $7,153.00 more than for what was owed, Redfin is where I got this info from and I mentioned this to the USDA too.
