With all the projects you run I don't doubt it. Just wanted a light hearted thread making fun of the quotas is all....

LOL I'm only running SETI and POEM right now. LOL But, since this whole mess started, I've yet to see any of the messages. I don't know if its because I'm still using an older version of BOINC, or what. And I know you were just poking fun my friend! LOL I just feel special that literally I can set it and forget it. Hehehe. Hopefully the power's to be will get it straightened out soon.

Oh I've had higher than that and I only had My cpu, Now I have the 295 and a second 295 is on the way I'm told, problem is due to a broken sata connector on the hard drive, the gold fingers are on the drive and the part that held the fingers is in the cable, I can't use two cards in the current motherboard, But then the psu only has 70A on the 12v rail, So I get to test the card only at 1st to make sure It works correctly, But when I get the ram, a water block for the cpu, some tubing, clamps and 2 quick disconnects for the video loop, I'll have possibly more than I have now, It all depends on how the 2nd 295 tests out. My next system will need two psus and I have 3 candidates in mind, an Enermax 1250w and two 1200w psus(Silverstone Zeus and the Corsair AX), any of them will do nicely. :D

Since this whole mess started I haven't even looked at any of my host running older apps. I wonder if my quads with Crunch3rs client are getting these messages. Going to a party but will have to check, that may well be the case. Going to have a beer or two so have an awesome day all!!!

Mine certainly is, but all day it said "not requesting new tasks". I looked at the application status page, and it said 1, so I looked, and sure enough after close to 500 continous units, I got one with a 1 error, and everything reset.

Nope - because of the messages, I backed off one of my machines from 6.10.56 to 6.10.18, still had the messages. After a couple of days, went back to 6.10.56, since it didn't affect the screwed up time estimates, and I was still getting occasional aborts by BOINC for "exceeding max time".

[edited]If this thread' title can be interpreted as asking "Who is running SETI the best?",[/edited] "Running SETI" might be stretching it a little for me lately. Started with a hd crash, then the recent software changes, and then the GPU started spitting out copious computation errors. Today, I think it died...
[edited]Oh, and while I was out of town recently, we had a power outage, so the pc sat stone cold for almost 3 days...[/edited]

So, limping along on two cpu cores now. I'm afraid to look at my stats...

Keep crunching!

Not caring about best just wondering if anyone will hit 1000 or even 500. I have a bunch of CPU units that think they can complete in 10 seconds...

I think beyond a certain point It goes and stops mentioning It in the logs on the users end, So It might never be known.

I think that having my cache set at 10days and no edited app_info file I weathered the last hiccup pretty well so I feel that I'm well prepared to deal with the next outage.

BTW I havn't seen a red message in days now. :)
