Uploads are now going through Mr K looked at it - very slowly but they are going through! I totally agree, it's what saved me this whole week. :) I mean sure 10 days is a lot if the servers don't go down. But with maintenance every week it's pretty certain to get through quite a lot of the 10 day cache. - Jarryd |

Yeah, I guess we're looking silly now :-) I'll have you know that I don't need SETI to make me look silly, it just comes natural. |

Always thought, thats why you can choose to do some 'Back-Up Projects', just teasing. Still have some MB and AP* WU's running, but the latter are going very fast, same time as MB WU's! [OFF TOPIC] *SETI Bêta, rev.428 & 434, which is quite fast indeed. [ON TOPIC] Makes it very tempting, to UP the cache, but leave it at 3 days, also gives time to do something completely different with your computer, like cleaning(I know it's an ugly word), but still has to be done. Defragmenting the Harddisks, scan for trojans/other junk, etc. ;-) And there ARE other thing besides computers...... Drinkin beer, gett... .... .. ....... [ADDED]Still can NOT UPload and much work isn't present, yet. |

That's what I did. The irony is that my rig is now much faster than it was. But I also had a lot of software to install, bringing up the total capability of my rig. I even got the girls dancing on the screen when I want! Steve Warning, addicted to SETI crunching! Crunching as a member of GPU Users Group. GPUUG Website |

Congratulations to whomsoever extracted the finger from the hole in the dyke. Maybe a Dutch footballer? Anyway, all work uploaded and reported. May all our troubles be little ones and thanks a million to the Seti staff. |

I can't see any new WU's from here at work, but my RAC just started shooting up at about 100 points every 5 minutes. It may be my wingmen reporting in against my pendings. I should know in about 30 minutes, but I must admit it feels good to be climbinng again. Steve Warning, addicted to SETI crunching! Crunching as a member of GPU Users Group. GPUUG Website |

I should know in about 30 minutes, but I must admit it feels good to be climbinng again. My pendings are decreasing, and I still see no WU's so the boost must be coming from my wingmen. Thank you wingmen! What a time for the wife to want to go shopping after work. :) Well, based upon that result, a worthwhile late spring clean! VirtualGirl HD! My wife doesn't mind a bit! Rig on a Bench has 800 VLAR's that it is working on on the CPU's. It is still asking for GPU work as it has NONE. Servers say no work available. Any ides how to get GPU work or is it wait and see time? Dave |

Rig on a Bench has 800 VLAR's that it is working on on the CPU's. If it's asking, that's the best you can do. Otherwise - yes, it's wait and see time. |

Thank You to all who helped to get the system back up and running. I changed my cache to 10 days, it was at 5 days. Lee cavemanmoron |

Thank You to all who helped to get the system back up and running. Luckily not all participants read here and are tempted to do the same. It would surely cause major server problems if all hosts tried for a 10 day cache. The option is offered for those who feel they need it, and the project has not used the protective measure of setting a maximum number of tasks any host can have in progress. If they were forced to set a limit, it would only affect the most productive hosts. Joe |
