Some random guy grabbed a part of Dru's anatomy that he shouldn't have. I gave a part of his anatomy a little 'love tap' with my knee. We all got kicked off the bus. So, my whine is about pervert guys and the local bus system. Pure mathematics is, in its way, the poetry of logical ideas. Albert Einstein |

Some random guy grabbed a part of Dru's anatomy that he shouldn't have. I gave a part of his anatomy a little 'love tap' with my knee. We all got kicked off the bus. My knee is fine. He won't be walking comfortably for a couple days. Pure mathematics is, in its way, the poetry of logical ideas. Albert Einstein |

I think we do need a scoring system for reasons to whine. Any ideas from msattler being the founder of this thread? |

I score Kenzie's whine at 5 outta 10, for the brusing and cowboy walk. A more crushing retort would have given her at least 8. It's good to be back amongst friends and colleagues |

I'm pissed that every day more and more crude oil spills into the sea from the Deepwater Horizon. Did you read/hear about the solution offered by the russians? They suggested to use/explode a nuclear bomb!! Crazy. |

Hmmm.... do I want my next pot of crawfish gumbo to taste like crude oil, or have it glow in the dark and make me walk sideways???? Let me think on that and get back to you. couillon! |

That does sound a bit crazy but it would probably work. It should compress the ground around the drill site and permanently close it off. I think a large amount of regular high explosives would be a better idea. Nobody likes plutonium mixed in their oil. lol |

Hello fellow SETI-ites! I like to whine about the Eco Treehuggers that ALL have cars, fly in jet planes, own appliances, use hydro, own computers made from oil-based products, own flat screen TVs and computer monitors AND most of whom contribute to the growing Human population by having offspring. The Earth's population in 1800 was 1 billion; today it's 6.9 billion. Here in Canada we have a jackass environmental activist called Dr. David Suzuki who flies everywhere to speak for $25,000 - $50,000 per event rather than staying home and using big-screen video conferencing! It's funny how these guys use Cognitive Dissonance Reduction to validate and rationalize their polluting lifestyle. :-( EDIT: spelling... |

"Did you read/hear about the solution offered by the russians? They suggested to use/explode a nuclear bomb!! Crazy." isn't that more or less the plot from "goldfinger" irradiate the us supply of gold so it is unusable thus driving up the value of goldfinger's stocks of gold... so the russians want us to render our oil reserves unusable so their and everyone elses oil reserves would skyrocket in value... that pesky Vladimir Putin.... |

"Did you read/hear about the solution offered by the russians? They suggested to use/explode a nuclear bomb!! Crazy." It also reopens Atomic testing and the above ground blasts. It could be the first step toward Atomic war. This step should not be taken lightly. |

Your problems pale in comparison to mine... there is not one bit of ice cream in the house this evening!!! Thanks a lot Angela! Now you've put it in my mind and I don't have any. They roll up the sidewalks at 6 so I can't even go out and get some. Jeez, won't sleep now - at least not without some Bourbon :-) Have a good one! New music is old music played twice as fast and half as well... |
