One of the things they are trying to do is to intercept other web portals' traffic. I searched for Wikipedia, and the top entry is now a Google link saying "search directly in Wikipedia from your google homepage."

Perhaps Google is starting to be evil after all?

I think it's only visible at google.com - not google.co.nz, google.com.au, google.whateversuffixgermanyis.

I personally hate searching by country - I always use google.com.

I saw the redesigned page all day yesterday and most of today on all my searches...But just now i checked and it was back to the old style search results page.
