Warmer weather has arrived, and with it comes BSOD's.

It hit 80f in the crunching den for the first time this year, and sho 'nuff...two rigs hit the skids.

That's how close to the edge I run them.
Backed off the FSB 2 Mhz, and they are good to go again.

80F ain't that much here. Temp inside my case is 82.4F right now and it's only 9:00 AM.

Now's probably a good time to up my OC... don't want to fry the chip however.

I fear heat as much as I fear cold. I have lost snakes because the power went out, the air conditioner cut off, and the indoor temp rose to 110 F. There is an interesting chain of events. The computer creates heat. The chiller takes away heat and puts it in the air. The air conditioner take the heat in the air and moves it outside. All that extra heat outside reheats the house.:) :)

Well, I have to admit, in the winter, I do OC the rig's and use cold air, from an open window, f.i., but when it get's hot outside, I've to back down, too.
Have heated a room with 3 QUAD's, 2 of them with 2 CUDA/CAL (ATI) card's, last winter.
[ADDED]Nice OC, btw. Must be the weather, I did the same, only 5 minutes ago, cause it's still rather cold, about 5 till 10C, when the sun rises, it still freezes!
Good for the PC, bad for my bones ;-)

LOL. Scratch that - BSODed while I checked the outside temps. A reasonable 17C here. Knocked the blck back a notch as well.
