Message 976286 - Posted: 6 Mar 2010, 18:40:47 UTC - in response to Message 976267.

In for a quick Saturday morning win.

It's a beautiful, sunny day here on Canada's west coast.

Same Here in Southern Ontario. Spent the morning outside and heading back out to soak up some more sun this afternoon.

We are about halfway to the number I picked so keep the posts coming.

Yeah Radon is everywhere, Sorta like the cartoon character: Savor Faire

Hench Dog(Left), Savor Faire[French Canadian](center),
Mountie Klondike Kat(Right)

I'm really struggling to see the connection - is that because I'm not American?

Savor Faire said He was everywhere, Not that He was of course. As in: "Savor Faire is everywhere", As is the air We all breathe.

Just cause You can't see something, Doesn't mean It isn't there, It just means if something is small enough, one can not see It without some sort of help.

He was a part of few Klondike Kat animated shorts, Usually they were associated with UnderDog on TV back in the 60's.

I always thought Savor Faire was Canadian, but i could be wrong.

Luke - goods to hear from another former bit of the Empire (the pink bits on my old school maps). You need to be careful comparing your parties to US Democarats and Republicans, as some people will take it too literally. We do the same here - some people say the party on the left is "like" the Democrats and the party on the right is "sort of" Republican. If you actually look at party policies and goals, our most extreme right wing party to actually get elected (our current minority government) makes Obama look like Rush Limbaugh in black face.

And speaking of nuclear power - according to government statistics air pollution related deseases caused by burning coal kill an average of 3 people a day here in my home province. It was even worse 30 years ago, and has been going on for at least a hundred years. This is the province where the Canadian nuclear industry started some 60 years ago, and is home today to more nuclear reactors than any other province. Proven fatalities to date caused by nuclear power - 0.

A nuclear free win. But I'm buzzing on expresso, so that's almost the same thing.

Both caffeine and alcohol (both in moderation). I knew someone that was going to school and working full time as a security guard, and he claimed that he was downing about 50 cups of coffee per day (I would hardly qualify that as moderation).

Caffeine is both a diuretic and a mild laxative so I would imagine that your friend was spending a lot of time doing things other than his job and studying.

[edit]Oh, and I don't drink alcohol anymore, as I am sure that moderators, and their lack of need to keep me in check, shows. :P

I never got a taste for Alcohol Myself, That doesn't mean I didn't try some Champagne, Red Wine, Beer or Rum, But that's cause I had such an example who didn't care and was in denial all the way on more than one front.

Unless you are an alcoholic in remission, one glass of wine or one beer with dinner won't hurt anything. I know that ex alcoholics cannot have even one drink, or many of them will fall off the wagon.

My Mom would drink Wine until She passed out(She couldn't tolerate hard liquor, part of 1 one drink and out She went, like a light switch being flipped Dad said), Why? She had a Hysterectomy which a male Doctor said She needed, Next came a Divorce cause a Nun had stuck a stupid lie in Her head when She was Younger, that caused Dad to move away and get a Cancer virus, Both are gone now of course, One violently and one cause the heart had stopped in a hospital room with no monitors.
