@ SJ & Blurf: it's working fine now. :)

Glad You have It working now.

Me I just have to go into Barstow CA on Tuesday and pick up the 2 tires that I ordered, As the shipper added a 7 to the delivery address of the installer(2040 became 20407 and made the tires undeliverable as there is no 5 digit address on Main st in Barstow CA), Who I have to call and arrange for an appointment to get those 2 tires installed on the front of the car.

How do they work out price wise SJ? Just wondered how they compare to the UK?

No doubt we get ripped off here in comparison. I pay about £100 a tyre (yeah, we spell it different to you :p) including fitting £100 being about $155 in todays money.

The place I bought My 2 tires at sold Me the tires for $41.23ea+39.52(UPS), Fitting here is $25.00(But since the installers are just affiliates, The install price would be different from place to place I'd think), But since they were to ship to a commercial address I got a $4.29 discount, Being You're in the UK, I'll give You their UK website address: http://www.mytyres.co.uk

Oh and yes I know, But I was taught that both i and y are interchangeable, So don't worry about that. Hopefully this will Help You Andy.

Shipping weight for the two 185/60x15" tires(tyres) is 42lbs.

Oh yeah, I've heard of them. Non of the local garages want to fit something they haven't supplied though, so looked once, never bothered looking again.

The websites installers should do It, Here they have installers in various zip codes, One just happened to be in Barstow, but then out here small places aren't so picky, And yeah the big brick and mortar shops don't like the internet. Wish I could do more as the site does have a Search for a Fitting Station, I looked for a tire there that would fit My car to find the link, It should help.

Well I'm back from the Tire/Tyre shop(Rock Tires), UPS 1st couldn't find the place as they'd been given an address of 20407 Main st Lenwood CA, When It should have been 2040 W Main st Barstow CA, Then they were going to hold the tires for Me at the depot, then the Tire installer called and UPS said they'll deliver them to 2040 W Main st(HAHA) and then right in front of My eyes the UPS truck went down the street, then went next door, Then left heading towards the UPS depot on East Main st in Barstow with My 2 Tires onboard, Then I found out that the driver delivered the tires to 100 W Main st(Barstow Tire & Brake @ 1:10pm) instead of 2040 W Main st(Rock Tires), then 20 minutes later around 1:30pm the Tires were finally Delivered to Rock Tires after I had called UPS and complained about the UPS Delivery and I had My 2 Tires installed and Balanced for all of $25.00 for the pair. Rock Tires is a good place, They'll get My business in the Future.

Both are Front Tires for the Moment(In August they'll be rotated to the Rear),
Left pic=Passenger side(Right side of car)/Right pic:Drivers side(Left side of car).

The 2 tires are Federal 185/60x15 tires(stock size for My car), They replaced 2 Yokohama 195/60x15 tires(Yokohama pic Below).
