Yeah wish it would be over :-)

I've had most of the machines off during the day and a couple running overnight when it cools down. Unfortunately its been raining so can't leave the window open unless i'm around.

I live in MN, are you kidding??? ;)

JK, I know you're referring to heat, I have mine in the basement which stays fairly cool in the summer, but then, not sure how the farm will effect that once it's all up and running. It will be interesting to see if it makes any difference on my AC bill. I know it will on my electric bill! :-O

OH, yeah. I live in Wisconsin.....and...

I have already been alluding to that in my kitty auction thread.

The farm has kept the house rather comfortable all winter......I only got one fill of fuel oil this winter.....and thank God, at $2.45 a gallon.....cost me about $300.00 to have it filled......and that was with what was left over from last year.

It's gonna be a toasty summer with them Cuda cards......
Summertime.....
Or is that Summertime...
Or was that Summertime...
Or is it just Summertime...

Yah, I been thinkin'.......fish are jumpin......and the cotton be high.

Meow.

I wish I had a basement, Here summer means 100+ days of 100+ Temps and then there's the monsoon season when We get some rain, thunder and lightning. Out here this is the nice time of the year as the temps are in the 70's, HOT is coming, Low humidity sure, But It's coming and pretty soon I need to crack open the swamp cooler and replace the 3 pads and hope the swamp coolers water pump is ok.

Ditto, I might be able to make the pads go another season though.

I plan on buying about 3-4 gallons of white vinegar and running it through the system.

Not a good idea arkayn, Vinegar eats metal as It's a weak acid(for those who don't know), My pads are caked and are going to be a bitch to pull out.

Hi, summer . . ., hmmm it's still freezing, well -1C this time (03:38 local).
Always a surprise if 'we' get a summer.

Anyway, this weather, has it's cooling advantage, trying to 'see' the sunny side of this miserable climate, specially, this time of the year . . .
Even in Portugal, Spain, Italy . . . . rain or snow, temps ~10C . . .
Even my RAC shrunk ;^)

I think I'm prepared. Re-acquired the window unit that I lent out a few months ago. Still 30's at night and 50's during the day here, but with just having the window open, it almost isn't enough. Need to get a fan to put in the window.. that would certainly work.
