Salut!

Every year I make 2 New Years Resolutions and I always keep them. One year, I ate Haggis and it almost killed me.

This year I am going to eat a Baconator. Yes! I've watched the ads on TV for years and have never had one. I'm too chicken to try the Triple so it's going to be a Double. The video on You Tube is hysterical.

What's your crazy New Year's Resolution fellow Seti-ites?

Mine, i'm afraid, is to diet! I have gained 32 Llbs of weight in the last year and I'm going to lose it all before June 2010 when I go back to the US and will most likely gain it again :D

Really never been into New Year's Resolutions but this changes this year..

1) Drop my cholesterol w/out medication--it's almost over 190 but I've already started. After my cardiologist appt 2 weeks ago I started eating High-Fiber Oatmeal at least 4-5 times per week. I'm also hiring a Personal Trainer to come up with a good workout program for me as well.

2) Relax more...

Got to love some parts of the American diet, Junk food is best avoided as It's a lot of empty calories(measured per serving on the package), Some burgers can contain 1500 calories, I don't know what My favorite thin crust Domino's pizza with meat and cheese(cheddar too) has for calories, But It's a meal in Itself, Thick crust is more filling though, If You want good food go to places like Norms, Bobs Big Boy, Sizzler or places like them as their not fast food and they generally serve good food, There's a place My brother used to take Me to on Bear Valley Rd in Hesperia CA(east of the I15 freeway)

T N T's Cafe
14767 Bear Valley Road, Hesperia, CA
(760) 947-3663

They serve good food and have good service too.

Oh and I never make resolutions, too hard to keep, things around here can get too fluid so to speak.

I would make them.
I would break them.

Now, every year my resolutions are;
No more resolutions.

This I can keep. Works well!

Each New Year's Eve, I resolve to:

Drink less..
Eat better..
Exercise more..

Then I go to the party where I...

Drink too much...
Eat too much...
and then spend the next morning lying in bed.

By noon on January 1, I've wiped out the resolutions. :)

out of it! - and make sure to smile as much as
possible - every day. ;-)

Get the Kirkland brand fish oil capsules from Costco. They are cheap for the amount you get plus for whatever reason these don't give you fishy burps.

This year I resolve to eat more pie.

My doctor is very concerned about my low cholesterol. He says I should eat more egg yolks and cream and butter and well marbled meats.

I'll try, but I don't think I can stick to the diet he has prescribed for me.

Sigh....

I've chewed Copenhagen snuff for 30 years.
My New Years resolution is to kick it. I'm not waiting for New Years eve, I'm starting tomorrow.

Good luck on that Robert. I gave it up a few years back when they dropped the Copenhagen Black. Went through a lot of gum and 2 tooth fillings!
