In Results i got the folliwing:

Work unit ID Sent Received Server state Outcome Client state CPU time (sec) claimed credit granted credit
11050018 2216834 5 Oct 2004 18:15:30 UTC 8 Oct 2004 11:09:14 UTC Over Couldn't validate - missing file Done 18,159.05 67.15 0.00

That is in the column "Outcome" - and theres a link "explain":

Result state explanation

The outcome of a result is defined if its server state is over.
It has the following values:
Success
A client completed the result successfully.
Couldn't send
The server wasn't able to send the result to a client (perhaps because its resource requirements were too large)
Client error
The result was sent to a client and an error occurred.
No reply
The result was sent to a client and no reply was received within the time limit.
Didn't need
The result wasn't sent to a client because enough other results were returned for this work unit.

Now the question - WHAT THE HELL MEANS "Couldn't validate - missing file" ???

I guess this is due to the recent failed uploads - File rejected by server, therefore, "Couldn't validate - missing file" :-(((

Does anyone else, that had trouble with failed uploads, have any WUs in their results with the above message? I just had a recently setup remote cruncher upload results today for the first time on its own, and all 17 say "Couldn't validate-missing file", and have been given 0 credit. Prior to that, there were 3 that I manually updated, and all three were successful and have already been granted credit. However, some of my other crunchers had upload problems, a small handful, when they were using CC 4.09, and none of them have these in their results. So, I had been thinking all this time that the failed uploads did not get recorded into results at all. BTW, this problematic cruncher is still running 4.09, haven't had a chance to get back to it to update. Anyway, now I'm really wondering if these entries are the failed upload problem, or something else?

Yesterday - before SAH2 validated their queue - I found about 25 units of mine that had three confirmations from different users - they were pending and waiting for validation.

Today most of those results of mine have turned into 'Couldn't validate - missing file' and as a result zero points. Prior to today there were no such messages - credits were just pending.

I have had no problems of uploading units at any time with the new BOINC versions - at least there have been no messages in the client window and until today there were no fault messages in 'Results' either.
Kind regards
Kirsten
