My Dad sent this to me. I am very thankful that he is still here after having a severe heart attack and 5 bypass surgery a few years ago.
He shared it with me, and I would like to share it with you.

All too often while dealing with our burdens in life, it is all too easy to forget to give thanks to Him for some of the simple things we take so for granted. Like seeing in color. Not all beings on this planet are so blessed....some can only see in black and white.

Watch this video and ponder how different it would be if we could not see Colors.

And then take a moment to give Him thanks for His gift.

And if you are not a believer, the beautiful pictures are yours to share anyway, my friends.

Another thing I would like to share......
This happened in March of this year, and some of you may have heard of it or seen it....but when I watched this it brought such a joy to my heart that I had tears in my eyes.

It was a staged promo stunt for a TV show, but it was not announced to the general public....the reactions from the people that were there are priceless.

This was done at Central Station in Antwerp, Belgium......

And here is a shot of it saved by a bystander watching it unfold....more of the real background sounds rather than the edited soundtrack. Watch things go crazy at about 1:40 when the children come down the staircase.....

Here is a version that somebody put together with the final edited version at the top and a split screen of a couple of other camera angles below. You can watch it several times to see different reactions on the part of those there that you cannot see in the final edit.

I have always loved the movie 'The Sound of Music' and many other things that Julie Anderews has done over the years. I hope this makes some of you smile as much as it did this sappy kittyman.

I wish I could return that ray of sunshine........

I can't get control of my manic depressive moods.......

And I won't go to a 'doctor' to tell me what it is I should do.
They are all so full of...........whatever.

So I shall struggle along, and take the stray bit of hope that my friends give me here.
And share the little bits of light that I find from time to time. I truly hope that some of you understand, instead of stomping on my ass.


So if I get in a rut and post the same little bits from time to time.....now you know why.
