BTW, this is gettin long, too, while I'm typing, it is still loading, on my LT, which has a wireless b/g connection to the MODEM/ROUTER..

Few good milestones to report while I was away this weekend!

1. Cracked 3,000,000 credits
2. Recorded highest ever RAC - 16733
3. Went into the top 1900 @ position 1878 in the Seti@Home world stats (BoincStats)
4. Reached position 111 for the UK for my country stats...

All in all, a great weekend. And I didn't see any of it because I was away!

regards, Gizbar.

Just broke 25 million on seti, and I am ranked number 3 in the world both in credits/day and credits/week. Yay for the SNL 10th anniversary gauntlet!

Good luck on catching the kittyman, Luke! He's just got a smidgen of a headstart on you! ;-)

His RAC is 2/3 of your total!

regards, Gizbar.

Hey there Gizbar! Mark might just have a fight on his hands when I pull out my Core i31415926e-314. But until that happens, he might just have a small lead... LOL.

Nice totals that you're sporting there too!

Hi Luke!

Not doing too bad. Have two machines on the go 24/7. One is mine, and I use it as my daily driver, and the other sits crunching, and only gets used when my kids come to stay. They both do a bit of Cuda, but electricity is expensive in the UK, and I won't be putting any more on any time soon. Might do a Gfx card update soon, funds permitting, but I always get caught out on pricing. When I bought the AMD955 for mine, they reduced the price by 10% the week after. Story of my life!

Looking forward to seeing your RAC climbing real soon! And as for the Core i[Pi], who knows what Intel has up it's sleeve next! They're certainly not gonna be caught any time soon! They've already shown the wafer with 22nm chips on, so the technology is marching ahead...

Hi Mark,

Pretty impressive crunching, I reckon. How you find the funds to keep them all running, I do not know. But, I'm happy that my two machines are pushing out 16.5K RAC on average, however, yours is about 6x that, and still seems to be creeping up! Have the temps dropped so you can shut the air-con off yet? I'm guessing they have.

I keep my eye on all the significant crunchers/posters, and contribute where I can. I peaked at approx 17.5K RAC, but have been dropping back a little this weekend, but them servers need another good kickin' methinks! One machine is reporting that it can't get any new tasks, the other isn't even asking for any yet.

Quick milestone too, to keep on topic; My main machine has just broken 1 million credits, about 4 months after creation. (It was created on 21st June.)

regards, Gizbar.

Congratulations kitties!!! I had my eye on that tbh...

Maybe I'll shout when I hit 50k (probably quite soon as my 4th machine may get a push in a few days).

Got to 10,000,000 on SETI finally, about 2 months or so ahead of hitting my 10 year milestone, after several hardware updates/adds this past year including several CUDA cards. What a side hobby!
