Well don't get too complacent with your new title. If you piss too many people off with your Dark Side powers, someone might end up shooting a torpedo through Arecibo's thermal exhaust port to teach you a lesson.

Is that before, or after the array shuts down due to lack of funding? :(

Now I understand how Darth Edible survived many years of living with the canibals.

I hope Darth Valid doesn't visit any of us.

I'm tempted to say that "Darth" means "Not". Actually, it took me a while to get that one too... Inflammable actually means flammable. It is a tricky one, and probably why Eric chose it as his Sith Name.

I wonder if Eric didn't mention Darth Bred because it was taboo.

You have all apparently spent time studying under the tutilage of Darth Solant. Darth Fluenza is not amused, but he's too busy slagging off Darth Experienced dor spending too much time with Dath Ternet.

Way back in the days of Darth Bane, a Sith Lord's name just needed to sound menacing. And that tradition carried forth through to the most famous of the Sith Lords, Darth Sidious. After a couple of disappointing students, Lord Sidious decided that the formula used for his name was best, and thus Lord Vader was born. Eric, I have been doing some research into the Sith Lord naming tradition, and have uncovered an interesting document written by Darth Pector with the assistance of Darth Vestigator. Apparently not all Sith lords agreed with the exclusive use of the "in-" prefix. Darth Tension decided to covertly carry on naming his students with his own "ex-" prefix in his own little enclave. Darth Terminate became an ideal warrior. Another three became masters themselves - Darth Cellent, Darth Act and Darth Pert. Unfortunately that was the turning point. Darth Treme and Darth Cite joined forces, then went out of control. Darth Pletive was too foulmouthed. Then another three were ejected - Darth Communicate, Darth Pel and Darth Clude. The end came when Darth Travagant and Darth Pensive sent the enclave into bankruptcy, and Darth On Valdez caused a major environmental catastrophe. One last doomed attempt to breathe life back into the tradition was made by Darth Cavate and Darth Hume, but of couse it failed. ------------ I also discovered that the ancient Sith named co-joined twins with the same name but different prefix's. One example was Darth Trovert & Darth Trovert, who were successfully separated and went their own ways. Another was Darth Hale & Darth Hale, who couldn't be separated for medical reasons. ------------- Bruce
